FINAL - I Am Nothing Without You

Tyler sat in her stall, tuckered out from interview after interview and one exciting game. She slipped her skates off of her feet and leaned back, smiling at her teammates across the room.

"Ty?"

She looked to her right and saw Tanger standing with his hands behind his back, his head low and his eyes expectant.

Tyler lifted herself to her feet and smiled over at him, taking a few steps towards him, "Yeah, Tangs? What's up?"

He shrugged, "I just wanted to say congratulations on your game tonight. You did so well and you mean so much to this team. We are nothing without you. I am nothing without you."

Tyler opened her mouth to respond but before she could, Tanger brought his hands around, revealing what he was holding. A few pucks, three to be exact, rested in the palm of his hand and he held them out for her. Each taped puck was a piece of her very important hat trick.

She removed the pucks from Tanger's hands and stared at them. Without warning or word, she dropped the pucks and threw her arms around his neck. She leaned into him and pressed her lips against his own, tangling her fingers in his damp hair.

When she pulled back, she touched her forehead to his, much like a helmet kiss. He was beaming.

"Tyler?"

"I love you, too, Tanger," She breathed.

And he kissed her.

HEY GUYS !! Thank you to all of you who stuck with Bottle Rockets when I stopped posting as often. 

I apologize if this was a terrible and abrupt ending. I kind of gave up and got bored with it by the end. I didn't have any concrete ideas that I liked to continue it. 

INSTEAD I'M STARTING A NEW FANFIC. Here's a little "back cover" description. 

The Dallas Stars dominated the playoffs and claimed the champion title as their own. The partying ensues but Jamie Benn takes it a little too far. Tyler Seguin can't help but worry over his best friend. When said partying bleeds into the beginning of next season, Tyler intervenes. As Tyler helps Jamie on the road to recovery, will old feelings and memories resurface or will Jamie just get worse?
