LYRIC *next weekend
"You ready yet babe?" Callie said as he walked inside the room, but suddenly stopped.
"What?" I turned to face him, tugging on the bottom of my dress "do I look alright?"
"Damn, you should wear shit like that more often." He slapped me on my ass and began gripping it.
I shooed his hand away, "Moveee, I'm almost done."
A small smile came across my face and I felt a sense of relief. I fluffed out the curls in my head while scanning the grey dress that hugged my curves. I was going to an event at this club that Callie was hosting. He told me that a lot of famous people would be there and I figured I should dress up.
"Lemme just tell Taylor we're about to leave the house." Callie told me that I could invite a few people so I told her and the others that they were welcomed to come. Plus, I didn't want to be there by myself with a bunch of those people I didn't know.
"Iight, Ima go start up the car."
Rubbing in my Ruby Woo MAC lipstick a bit more on my lips, I added a few more strokes of mascara on my eyelashes and put everything back into my bag.
Grabbing my clutch and cell phone, I turned out the light and walked out. I couldn't believe I was wearing heels.

The club was packed, and I mean PACKED. The line wrapped around the building, but we went straight to the front and walked inside. I held onto Callie's hand as we maneuvered our way to our VIP section.
He stopped and spoke to a lot of people on our way there and I simply waved and smiled back at them.
Finally sitting down, there were a few guys and girls there already and Callie greeted them, I guess they were his friends. One of them named Quinton spoke to me while I scanned my surroundings. I had seen him around a few times because he hung with Dontell.
"Shit turnt huh?"
I glanced to the right of me,"Yeah, this is nice."
"Are you a close friend to Cal or somethin?" He eyed me up and down and I knew where he was going with this.
"Girlfriend.." I broke eye contact and started back looking at everybody dancing and talking.
Me and Callie had decided that we were going to give us another try. We figured that we were more mature now and could handle it. After the past two weeks we've been spending together, I felt like things were going really good.
