OMNISCIENT
1 week later..
Everybody stood outside as they lowered Dontell's casket into the ground. They were back home and nothing felt the same. After Khari and Joshua left Santana's house, Khari left without anybody knowing where he went.
Taylor was just released from the hospital but had to be kept a close eye on because she tried to commit suicide after finding out about the miscarriage. The once vibrant and energetic girl was now dull and unrecognizable.
Joshua was still trying to accept the death of his best friend, baby, and father. He understood why Joshua had to do what he did, he would've did the same thing if he was in his situation. Besides, his father had it coming for how he treated people. Him and Taylor were going through a rough phase in their relationship, neither of them able to look each other in the eyes or say more than 3 words to each other. Would they stay together? He honestly didn't know at this point.
Lyric was out of it. Physically she lost one of her best friends, but mentally she lost all of them. And then there was her and Khari.. Who she didn't hear from since she saw him at the hospital. She wanted to know what was going through his mind and she wanted him to let her be there for him. She begged and pleaded for him to acknowledge her not just for her sake but for his own. He was the only thing that could keep her sane. What would she do now? After feeling vulnerable and weak she finally called her mother after such a long time of not speaking and after the conversation with her mother in the hospital, she filled her in on everything that had happened in the past year she experienced with Khari and the past 2 with her other friends. Her mother suggested for her to come back home and she didn't think it was such a bad idea after all.
But Khari shut down. He stayed quiet and still most of the time, and showed no emotion. He was positive all of this was his fault. He almost got everybody killed, especially Lyric and she deserved better. He didn't want anything to do with her because he didn't want her to have anything to do with him. He didn't mean to put her through all of this. Or himself. He had to let her go because he was becoming worse. He was becoming a monster inside. He made all of this happen and nothing could take away that guilt. No matter what he knew or who he killed. He needed some time to himself so he made up his mind to move to California.
Taylor cried and Joshua held her while he cried too. Lyric cried into her hands and felt an arm wrap around her for comfort only to look up and see Khari. His red eyes showed that he had been crying but he looked forward at nothing in particular.
It turns out that Santana owed a lot of people money and was in deep trouble, he was bound to get killed any day which is why he let his nephew do it so easily.
Everybody was grieving. And only time could heal those wounds. Or could it?
