Hunter

Hunter has made it clear that he's hardly ever been around babies or pregnant people. He's more of a worrier when you're closer to giving birth and you imagine he will be more of one as the baby grows. That with trying out a regular life on the island of Pabu, it's not been easy for him. You're glad you and Phee convinced him to try this place. You had been here several times before, but you didn't have a real reason to settle down. With your daughter now here and Omega, it's perfect.

Closing your eyes after Doc did all your tests and cleaning with the baby, you turned to look at Hunter. You had a daughter which you named Mara. At first, he was awkward holding her. With Doc and Phee's help though he figured it out. Now he's sitting in a chair next to you with your baby sleeping soundly against him. One of his hands was over her protectively and the other was holding your hand.

"I didn't think she would be this small." He admitted, gently patting her, "Her cries are soft. I'm almost worried if we take her off planet I won't hear her even with my hearing."

You hummed, before grinning, "Wait, until she actually cries. You won't worry then."

He gave a small chuckle and rubbed her back as she started fussing, making her calm down, "Looks like she's already a Daddy's girl."

He gave a small smile, before letting out a breath and closing his eyes. You could see he was getting a little overwhelmed. You could practically see his worries coming back.  Squeezing his hand, you gave him a smile when he looked at you.

"Hey, we're okay now." You assured him, "Just focus on Mara."

For a second, you could see him go still as his eyes closed. Then he finally seemed to relax making you smile. You'll be okay.

Echo

Your son came out screaming and kicking at Doc while your daughter was calmer. Echo tried to cover his ears partly with his Scomp link. He didn't let go of your hand though. Not until your son was swaddled and Tech had made a baby carrier for him. Omega even decorated the fabric for it with drawings of the Bad batch family. He held your son, while you held your daughter. Neither of you had come up with names yet. He's been gone helping Rex. You couldn't lie and say you haven't felt lonely most of your pregnancy.

"Are you okay?" He asked, making you sigh.

"I'm fine." You muttered, grimacing in pain and using force healing to heal yourself, "I can feel the force in our daughter. Feels like she can use it."

You frowned as he smiled and lightly bounced your son. Looking up as the door opened, you relaxed when you saw your brother enter. His eyes landing on Echo with a glare before he walked over to you.

"How are the babies?" He asked, holding his arms out for your daughter, "Do they have names yet?"

Sighing, you looked at your babies. You've thought about the names. You want your son to have a name that will make Echo come back more often. Reaching over to rub your son's cheek, you nodded.

"Fives and Amalla." You answered seeing Echo's eyes widen.

You brother smiled as he cooed over your daughter before glaring at Echo, "What about you? Are you actually going to be staying around more? You told (Y/N) you would gain her trust back, what are you doing for that?"

Sighing, you shook your head before feeling Echo grab your hand tighter, "I've been talking to Rex about stopping my missions for a while. Until the twins are older. This time I'm staying for good."

You don't completely trust him on that. He's still loyal to his brothers. After hearing what's happening to the retired Clones, he's been trying to help. You understand to some extent.
