Katrina's pov

I had a letter stuck to the front door of my apartment with one red rose hanging with it after I came from work late last night and it was from Justin

Don't forget YOU ARE MY DATE for my cousin's daughter's Christening tomorrow. I know that what ever your going to be wearing will take my breath away as soon as I lay eyes on you. But for now sweetheart goodnight and see you tomorrow . The invitation is in the envelope

Theses words never left my mind for one second. When I went to bed I placed the red rose near my pillow and held the paper in my hand and fell asleep smiling

The next day I woke up refreshed and ready to go for the christening ahead. My stomach was doing flip flops and I was super nervous for today. I had a quick shower and ate my breakfast before Lauren my neighbour came and offered to do my hair and make-up as she was previously studying to be a hairdresser and a make-up artist before she decided to take nursing to be her professional career

"Katrina, are you in there" Lauren knocked on the door before coming in

"Hey lauren, how are you?" Greeting her with a hug before making her a cup of coffee

"I've been great. All ready to start on your make-over honey" she told me and I couldn't wipe the smile of my face

"Come on sit down here and let's start with your hair, then tour make-up as it's getting late" lauren patted the chair as she spoke to me and obliged at the orders

"Yes ma'am" and sat in silence as she started to untie the messy bun and working on my hair

My make-up and hair were done and she pushed me into the bedroom to start getting dressed

The dress is bright yellow, crystal band is wrapped around the waist and the shoulder blades and it hugged my body perfectly? When I stepped ojt of the room to show Lauren, she was speechless and her jaw was hanging open Literally.

"You look like an angel, my dear katrina" she told me with watery eyes

I went and hugged her and told her thank yoy for what she had done for me and April

"Oh hurry, my sweet. Your prince charming is waiting for you. Have fun" pushing me out of the door to see Mark my friend from the cafè giving me a ride to the reception

The reception was beyond amazing. Every thing from balloons, flowers, cake, table cloths, chairs, and ribbons were pink and gold

I couldn't get my eyes off the whole reception. The room was full of guests, chattering about with friends and family members.

I tried to find pattie or even justin, and just the thought of him made my heart flutter with joy.

Stopping in my tracks as soon as I spotted a somewhat brunette looking guy wearing a suit, holding a little girl between his arms, his laughter contagiousing family members around him. I couldn't wipe the smile of my face as I slowly walked towards him. When he spotted me his smile grew wider and the spark in his eyes grew even more as he gave the little girl to her mum and walked towards me

"Hi beautiful, I missed you" he whispered in my ear when he got close to me and I couldnt help but smile at his sweet comment

"Hi to you too handsome, I've missed you so much" I spoke and he hugged me even tighter

Justin introduced me to his other extended family and friends, when all the guests were chattering about. I was feeling happy and overwhelmed with everyone being so friendly and welcoming.

When the party started, justin was playing with his little cousins and I was sitting there admiring how he was making the little gitls and boys laugh so hard
"What are you staring at?" Justin asked when he noticed

"Obviously, not you?" I spoke and he gave me a smirk and waved off his cousins like birds and they followed his lead and came sat next to me, wrapping me in his arms like I was going to disappear

We sat in silence before justin stood up and offered me his hand and gave a smile that made my heart leap

I took his hand gladly, our hands interwined with each other perfectly as he lead me to the dance floor. Turning me around and placing his hands around my waist pushing me towards him. A "yeep" escaped my lips out of my control and he just laughed

A blush creeped into my cheeks and I hid my head in the crook of his neck.

"Justin, don't laugh" I spoke and he just laughed even harder

I layed my head in his shoulder as the rythm of his heart brat soothed me before the music has changed into 'shut up and dance with me'

"Come" justin said, I was so confused at where he was taking me but when I saw the city from the roof tops. I couldn't help but aww at the sight

He took my hand and looked in my eyes and said "katrina.. I love you from the first moment I saw you, your so beautiful. Will you be my girl?"

I couldn't do anything else except nod my head and look into his eyes as he held me close in his arms and a sigh escaped both of our lips.

"I love you kat"

"I love you too"

"I love you more" and a smile crept into my lips as I held him tighter as he leaned in and captured my lips with his on the roof tops of the hall overviewing the beautiful city filled with glittering lights

Justin is my guy and I'm his girl. I will never stop loving him and no matter what life throws at us, I know that we will always stick together, through thick and thin. One day will make it too forever  but for now will walk one step at a time
