"hey anyone home?" i called out into our house.
"yeah" my non-identical twin replied, Harry.
"Why aren't you at soccer practice?" i threw hung up my jacket and left my bag at the bottom of the stairs.
"I went but it got called off because coach wasn't well, so i came home, i think i'm going to Lou's party later..you going?" Harry was the complete opposite to me. A player, got drunk most weekends, stayed out past 12, had a detention most days.
"what do you think?" i retorted sarcastically. He knows i'm not a party person. Well, not these 'parties'
"Live a little would you Vic? I mean most of my mates think your such a saddo. I don't want to be known as the kid with a saddass sister" he threw a orange at my face. "come'on invite Chloe or Sara or both?!" he was basically begging at this point.
"remember the last time i went to one of Lou's parties?" i remembered, all to clearly. I got thrown up on, a girl tried to start a fight with me for having the same shoes, and Lou tried to get me in his bed. I got picked up by 8pm.
"Ah..Yeah, that wouldn't happen again"
"What would i wear anyway? i have nothing party-like?!" this was actually quite true. I had 2 dresses, i'd never worn. One was a bodycon tye-dye dress which i bought a few weeks ago. It came up to my knees, but it was so tight. My other dress was a long sophisticated one, for more of a family occasion.
"That one you bought the other week. and don't dare say you have no shoes! you've got hundreds" this was true. I had an obsession for shoes. I never wore heels i just bought them. I'd never been seen in them, maybe i should go..shock some people..To hell with it.
I shoved my dress on, a pair of black heels and curled my hair very loosley. I wasn't one for much make-up, so i stuck with foundation, a touch of powder, tiny bit of blush, eye liner on my top eye lid and a bit of mascara. Nothing too fancy.
"You look gorgeous darling" Mum said as i hopped into the car next to Harry.
"You smell though" He said pinching his nose mockingly.
"It's perfume you tard" I rolled my eyes at him. Boys were so thick sometimes.
I called Chloe as we turned down her road, to pick her up.
"We're 2 sec's away chlo"
"okay im ready"
I called off as we were outside her house by now.
"YOU LOOK GORG-EOUS" i burst out as she walked toward our car. She had the most gorgeous dress on, and these killer heels, which i'd wanted for ages.
-at lous-
"What time do you need picking up kids?" Mum asked. She was pretty cool for a mum, i mean cool sounds very pathetic, but she generally trusted us and let us do what we wanted really.
"Half 12 please" Harry asked with his puppy dog eyes.
"FINE FINE go have some fun, no more than a few drinks, tipsy is not drunk okay! If either of you are drunk you'll be in serious trouble you understand?" We nodded and headed off down Lou's drive, there was already people there, you could see the lights in the front window flashing.
"His house is bigger than i remember?" Chloe questioned. He did have a huge house. Everyone knew he was pretty loaded.
Chloe and I exchanged glances, and grinned.
