Jacks P.O.V

We had a great day at the beach, when we were relaxing I noticed Lou, Vic, Harry and Ariana walk in the opposite direction. I turned my head, I couldn't bare seeing her wrapped up happy with Lou, it really did pain me. Instead, me and Alli headed back to her house. She had a gorgeous house, it was huge aswel. Not so surprising as she does go to a all girls private school, one of the best around.

We relaxed all afternoon, watching movies, making slush puppies and playing pool. Jess and Sam on the other hand, were up too much more than that from what I gathered from Sams text messages. I headed home around 7pm, only too see Vics family having a BBQ, the downside to living next too the girl you love, or loved, you see her move on with someone else...

I shut my curtains, lay back on my bed and switched the soccer on, and drifted off too sleep without even realising it.

*********

"Jack would you get your arse out of bed and come and help your uncle with these boxes!" My aunt came storming in, I hoped out of bed pulling some sweatpants on and walked it my room onto the landing where my uncle was attempting to put some boxes into the loft.

"What the fuck are you doing? Here give me them, get off the ladders before you hurt yourself" I grabbed the box of my uncle, climbed up the ladders and shoved it into the loft, he passed more up to me and I packed each one into the loft with ease.

"It was just some old pictures we had in our room, cheers son" uncle wiped his brow, he was getting quite old now, 61 I think, more of a grandpa I know.

I went back into my room, opened the curtains and the window breathing in fresh summer air. I felt a sudden pang in my chest, the memories of climbing through my own window, across the tree then into Vics room, where we would lie on her bed and laugh and cuddle..

How does one human being become so distant to another? Especially when they were so so close.

I shut out the thoughts as best i could, i decided to text Alli, she was such a sweet girl. I think we really had a connection, and she wasn't 'easy' either, not that i wanted her really. My feelings for Vic were still raw.

To: Alli     From: Jack

Hey! Up too much today?I thought maybe we could hang out again?

To: Jack     From: Alli

Hey, nothing really. Yeah hanging out would be great, come round mine whenever really.

I got changed into my boarding shorts, and a plain white top, washed my face and left for Alli's.

"Hey Jack! wait there bro" that was only Lou's voice, of course, he was at Vics.

"I'm just going out, catch you later maybe" I got into my car, but he ran over too the window.

"Can we catch up properly? Come round mine tonight, please?" He said pulling a pathetic puppy dog face, part of me wanted to punch his face right now, but i refrained, and simply nodded then started the engine up.

I drove over to Allis, when i arrived i saw a younger girl, around 11-12 that looked the spitting image of Alli only smaller and more baby faced. I gathered this must have been her younger sister. As i pulled onto their long drive, she turned and squinted to see who it was, obviously she wouldn't recognise me.

"Hey! Who are you!" she shouted over at me, walking my way at the same time.

"woah calm down, i'm here to see Alli? i'm going to guess your her sister?" she nodded whilst looking me up and down.

"OI Billie leave him alone" Alli came out, thank god, and tugged me too the house. I waved sarcastically at Billie, her younger sister.

"Sorry about, well that. She's my little sister, i can't stand her to be honest" she said storming around her kitchen making us drinks. I laughed at her, she looked so cute when she was all angry and flustered.
