I fell asleep shortly after my encounter with Jack.
We decided school was still not a great idea, seeing as we were still fragile from dads death obviously. I spent the day doing nothing much, moping around which kind of made things worse. Harry was more himself, playing games and arguing online with his friends.
Mom stayed in her room, then walked for hours, I don't know where. But when she came back she seemed more normal
I couldn't help but think about Jack, he was so perfect but so different to me I guess. I was always going to be the girl who never really wore makeup or had the perfect clothes, the sort he would usually go for. But I knew he had helped me through last night, in such a hard time. I'm chatting like we're together, but were far from dating.
My day slopped by, and the night passed as uneventfully. Me and Harry decided we were to go to school tomorrow, instead of being stuck in the house of sorrows.

I woke up at 6, showered and dried my hair then dressed for school. Harry the same pretty much, we set off too school together for once, he in his car me on my Vespa, we arrived at school somehow, at the same time. Everyone gave us these sad eyes, it was kind but very patronising, people coming up to me saying sorry, like they knew me or cared for me. Which they didn't, they just felt sorry for me or wanted to be in on the latest news. Harry was quiet, and ignored everyone until he got to Lou, Sam and Jack. I found Ariana and Sara with them aswell. Looked like they'd made new friends.
"Oh my gosh Vic I'm so sorry" Sara hugged me as Ariana joined in awkwardly.
"Just trying to get back to normal so c'mon, tell me all your news and stuff" I said, plastering a fake smile accros my face.
Lessons were a drag. Teachers giving me the 'ill be nice because your a sad kid' look, and telling me if work was 'too challenging' to sit out. Since when was work too challenging? I hated being treated seprately to everyone else. I noticed Jack wasn't in lessons, no idea where he had got too today.
"So, me and Sara thought a spa day on Saturday would be perfect? Relaxing right?" Ariana offered as we left school and into the parking lot. It was only Wednesday but they'd obviously planned ahead.
"Sure" I agreed "thanks for being here guys I do love you" I said, I hugged them both and promised to text each of them later on.
I hopped onto my Vespa, and headed home. Harry wasnt home, and by the looks of it, Mom wasn't either. I went to unlock the door, only to find it open.
"Anyone home?" I shouted through. There was a trail of rosé petals through the house. I assumed they were a path, I followed them through the house outside, where Jack sat with a picnic, a bunch of roses and loads of cute candles, even though it was broad daylight.
"How did you get into my house?" I laughed.
"Urm I told your Mom I had a surprise for you and she just left the door open for me..." He answered, gesturing that I sit down on the picnic blanket with him. I sat next to him, the aroma was gorgeous. We lay messing around in the yard where the picnic was. We ate little sandwiches, obvious Jack hasn't made them himself.
"What inspired this?" I asked
"Just thought you could do with cheering up, who better than I?" He laughed smugly. Wow, this boy was beginning to grow on me, allot.
