Alex POV

I closed my suitcase after filling it up with my clothes. I was going home for the two week break. Well half of it.

James convinced me to go with the team to Barbados for the second half of the week.

I couldn't say no to him, he has these puppy dog eyes that trump any six year olds.

I heard my phone ringing and went back into the bedroom to grab it.

New Message from: Cristiano

What time does your flight leave tonight?

I responded the time and went into thr bathroom to pack my small toiletries bag.

Can we come over to drive you to the airport?

I was about to be confused when he sent me another text.

Confusion gone. I responded with a yes and went back to packing.

It was a half past one when Cris and Junior got to my house.

"Where are you going?" Junior asked when he saw my suitcases.

"I'm going home for a little while. But I'll see you next week." I said

"Why can't you stay here?" He asked his eyebrows pulling together.

Cristiano picked him up and put him on his lap. "Alex has to go home to see her family. She'll be back, she is coming to Barbados next week."

"Why can't we go with her?" He cried

"We are going to Barbados buddy. It's going to be fun! You'll love it, the water is so crystal clear, the beach-"

"But why can't Alex stay with us!"

"I am going to see my family love." I said brushing his hair back. "I promise I'll be there before you know it."

After more convincing and soothing we drove to the airport and they waited with me until my flight. Of course it wasn't a public waiting area, and I was taking a jet, too many people would recognize Cristiano.

Cristiano held my hand and Junior sat in my lap. A man in a pilot uniform came out of the gate. "Ms? Things are all settled. We are ready for you."

I looked at the boy in my arms and set him on his feet. "I'll see you two next week."

Cristiano gave me a smile and took Junior's hand. I picked up my bag and headed for the gate. Before I crossed I looked back and waved.

I have a long flight ahead of me.

I stepped off the plane and into the LA air. *idk of that's where they practice. I was just doing someplace common* I've missed this place. I said a can wait I for me and walked over and got in.
