"Keep running!" Zack laughed from just a few steps in front of me. His voice came out breathy and broken from the running. I laughed too, despite the situation, pushing my legs to try and keep up with his speed.

"I, am so, unhealthy!" I took a large breath and finally caught up to him. I think he slowed down a little for me.

Suddenly I felt my body being yanked into a corner and I opened my mouth to scream before a hand was placed over it silencing me.

"Shh, it's just me." I heard Zacks calm voice so I opened my eyes to see him standing opposite me in the small gap. I don't even know when I shut them actually, it was probably a reflex. He put a finger over his lips to tell me to keep quiet. He scared the hell out of me though; I thought they'd caught us for a few seconds and I freaked out.

He grinned at me, seemingly unable to keep the smile off his face and I'm probably the same right back. That was such a rush. I looked at his head to see the helmet covering his messy hair. I almost laughed, but we have to keep quiet so we don't get caught. He saw where I was looking and grabbed it, putting it on my head. It's a little big but I think it works.

I heard heavy footsteps and Zacks grin widened. They actually caught up to us. Oh my god, I'm internally freaking out but part of me is really enjoying the chase. I don't think I want it to end yet.

It's like a huge rush, being chased and knowing the consequences of getting caught. It's scary but I makes it funner, especially with Zacks joked and loud contagious laughter.

He leant in further and hide me from view, caging my body in with his and leaning his head over mine.

"Be very quiet." He whispered, followed by a quiet giggle. He's shown a different side of himself tonight and not once have we been shy or quiet. We've gotten scarily open with each other and very comfortable.

It's weird but actually kind of nice.

"Look down the alleyways! They're here somewhere." Zack pulled away from me a little with wide eyes and I copied him, gesturing for us to get further into the dark gap. It's the only option right now.

We both shuffled inwards and my shoes scuffled loudly against the rubble floor. He gave me a mock glare before rolling his eyes and picking me up by my thighs, wrapping my legs around him to stop the loud noise. I actually blushed, feeling my face and neck burn. I'm glad it's so dark right now.

He took step by step until the alley between the houses was so narrow that we couldn't possibly get any further in. The voices were still quite loud, telling us to work harder to be quiet.

I felt the helmet heavy on my head and smiled to myself. All of this just because of a stupid helmet with a police logo on the front.

Yeah, so we stole a helmet...from an officer in uniform, and that's who we're running away from too.

I don't know how it got to this, we were just walking around the town and chilling, until we decided to do something fun, and then everything went past in a blur and suddenly we were running faster than ever and laughing harder than I've ever laughed in my life, being chased by two officers; only one of them wearing the full uniform as we stole part of the other guys.

I suddenly felt a blinding light in my eye and squinted.

"They're down here!" I heard a deep voice call.

"Shit." Zack said exactly what I was thinking. He couldn't put me down though, the place was too narrow, so we just stood there being blinded by a torch and waiting for whatever was going to happen.

"Come here!" The same voice shouted; the man blinding me right now. I leant my head onto Zacks shoulder.

"What do we do?" I whispered, feeling him shuffle to get more comfy. I really hope this alley is clean, but I highly doubt that it is.

"I didn't think this far ahead." He whispered back, "shall we just...wait?" So he obviously had no idea either.

"Yeah sure." I whispered back, already doubting our plan.

The light was getting closer to us now, becoming more bright and I could faintly see the outline of somebody behind it.

It took about 30 seconds for me to be face to face with the flashlight and to see that this officer is wearing a helmet; so the other one we stole from is waiting out of the alleyway then.

"Sir, Madam, you can either follow me out of here willingly or I can drag you out in handcuffs." He patiently waited for our reply and I decided to let Zack choose for us. When he got out the handcuffs is when he replied.

"Yeah, okay, we're following." The officer turned around in the narrow space with difficulty and shifted, shuffling to the open space. Zack side stepped with me still attached to him, following closely.

I'm not even regretting what we did right now, I'm still really happy.

"Sir, could you put down the woman?" The officer sighed as we got out of the gap and into the open, the only light coming from a dim streetlight above us. The police glistened under the light and I could the hat-less officer glaring at the steering wheel.

We sure pissed someone off.

I felt Zack placing me down onto the sidewalk and steadied my feet, biting my lip to refrain from laughing at the entire situation.

My mom is going to kill me.

"Hands behind your backs," Zack shot me a look close to a smirk and turned around. I copied him, putting my hands against my back and feeling the cool clasp of the metal as handcuffs were placed around my wrist.

"You're being arrested on the charges of..."
