     The next morning when I woke up I was laying on Merle's back. Basically using him as a bed I was to lazy to get up so I just laid there. Last night I had a nightmare and Merle had to wake me up before I woke the whole camp. Yes he was pissed and no he didn't offer any comfort. I couldn't go back to sleep so I crawled over to his side and laid on his back. All he did was grunt and shift a bit. That surprised me but it helped me go back to sleep.

"Lazy day taday huh?" Merle's asks turning his head so he could look at me.

"Ya wanna do anythang? Cause ya better speak now," I say.

"Nah," Merle says he chuckled," I feel ta lazy ta kid,"

          I laugh a bit before we went quiet. I felt my self rise and fall with Merle's breathing. I'm pretty sure we were about to fall asleep when Shane came knocking.

"Delilah? Merle? Y'all in there?"

"Nope" Merle says you can hear the sleep in his voice.

"Santa went on vacation taday Shane. His elf is with him so leave a message after the snore," I say before fake snoring.

        Shane laughs a bit and Merle chuckles," Well y'all need to get up,"

"Why?" I whine.

"God, deputy there's nothin' fer us ta do," Merle growls.

"Delilah ya can do laundry?" I hear Rick say.

"Man I ain't your damn maid go do your own damn laundry," I growl raising my head. Merle grumbles about me and being a big baby. I flip him off.

"Bad choice man," Shane says laughing before adding," Delilah we have bacon,"

      That got me up I was off Merle and out the tent in seconds," BACON!!" I say jumping up and down.

       Shane smirks pointing towards the fire. I squeal running towards it I hear people laughing. I skid to a stop and sit in front of Andrea who was cooking it. She hands me a plate laughing lightly but all I see is bacon.

"It's fried ham mostly," she says.

"It still tastes like bacon," I say with a stuffed," I'm a happy child thang," I say after swallowing.

"Hey Delilah," I look over and see Carl standing there with Sophia.

"Hey Carl what's up kid?" I ask standing up.

"My mom said it was okay to come play with you," Sophia said I was surprised Carol usually wants her away from me. That never really stopped Sophia before but still. I smile and look at Carl who smiling widely at me.

"Alright then let's go play," I say taking a bite out of the last price of the bacon. I kiss Andrea on the cheek before getting up and walking towards my tree with the kids trailing behind me.

"I always wanted to be a cop like my dad," Carl says As he played with a stick.

     I look up from the braid that I was doing with Sophia's hair," really?" She asks.

"Yeah, mom says that I would make a fine sheriff," Carl says causing Sophia to giggle and me to smirk.

"Oh yeah all 'em girls gettin' in trouble just ta see THE Sheriff, Carl Grimes," I say making the kids giggle.

"I wanted to be a Nurse," Sophia says.

"Really?" Carl says looking surprised.

"I wanted to help people," Sophia says. I think that had a double meaning.
