When I woke up, it was dark. It was only after my eyes adjusted did I realize I was blindfolded. Moving my arms, I discovered that they were pinned behind me as well. My ankles were tightly bound to the chair.
As I carefully tried to maneuver my hands out of the bonds, I tried to take in my surroundings through the blindfold. I could hear noise and cars outside, so I was still in the city.
The sound of a key turning a lock made me freeze in my operations. I pretended to be asleep as my captor walked in.
"Morning Darling," he whispered to me, oblivious to my conscious state. He walked towards me, and flicked off my blindfold. Had my eyes been opened, the brightness would have shocked me. As I continued to 'sleep', the man walked all around the room. Through the slit of my eyes I could see his frame, and I recognized him like he was my father. I could never forget him.
Danny walked around the room like he owned the place. Stumbling from the alcohol in his system, he proceeded to down 3 more shot glasses before turning his attention to me. His breath was rancid, the smell nearly sending me off. He brushed my face and stared at me wildly.
Suddenly, he slapped me, and my eyes shot wide open from the pain. He laughed cruelly, and I could see how affected he was by the drink.
"Good to see those lovely eyes again Darling," he cooed. All I could do was stare at him and send daggers through my eyes. Pulling off my gag, he tried to kiss me, but I whacked him with my head, sending him to the floor.
"What was that for Sunshine?" he winced, and his Texan accent came out full and strong. "All I ever did to you was love you like a man should. He stood to face me, and grabbed my face with his hands.
Before I could object, his lips were on mine. His tongue pushed into my mouth, and vomit started to come into my own from the taste.
"Now that's what I'm talking about," Danny licked his lips as he pulled away.
"You are a monster," All I could do was look at him. "What did I ever do to you to deserve treatment like this?"
"Well, where do I start," Danny was mocking me as he stood up. "There was the time in 9th grade when you proceeded to embarrass me in front of the whole school by talking to the principle about where I lived. There was a time after I had first met you, when I had just confessed my deepest feelings for you, and you ignored me, going on about Charlie instead. Charlie," he spit the name out. "I hate him! I hate him!" He threw his shot glass towards me, narrowly missing my head as I ducked.
"You will learn to love me," his words were slurring as he slumped down onto the floor. "Just you wait." And just like that, Danny was asleep, snoring on the floor.
I have to get out of here. Looking around, I didn't see many things that would aid me in my escape plan. Then, I saw it. There, on the counter, sat a small pocketknife, filled with little goodies that could rid me of this guy forever. I angled my body toward the counter. Leaning back, I sent all of my momentum forward. The chair bounced, wobbled, and tipped, sending me straight to the floor. With nothing to brace myself, my head with the first thing to slam into the hard tiles. Stars exploded around my eyes, and the whole room went dark.

When I woke up some time later, it was dark outside. My chair had been stood back up, but I was now lying face down, tied to a bed. Moving my arms was a useless effort. Looking around, I could Danny was nowhere to be seen.
With my arms strapped on either side of me, sitting up was out of the question. I could however, rotate my legs so that I was in a somewhat comfy position.
The door opened, and Danny stumbled in. "Ooh my head," he groaned, stumbling over to the bed. He sat down and made his way over to me. Before I could stop him, he was asleep and laying right next to me. I couldn't even push him away.
We stayed like that all night long, with Danny snoring away. With the silence I was given time to think. I came up with multiple ways that I could escape, but they all involved injuries and things I did not have.
Frustrated, I had to instead sit there for the remainder of the night, and wait until Danny woke up the next morning.
