Part 47

"What are you doing here? What if Appa sees you here?" she said, grabbing Jungkook's wrist and taking him outside, and just then her Appa entered.

"Where are you taking him?" Mr. Lee asked, looking at them, and then gave her a stare when he saw she was holding Jungkook's wrist. She looked at him and immediately moved her hand away.

"Appa, I...I...no...n...n nothing," she stammered.

"What about the soup?" Mr. Lee asked Jungkook. She stared first at Jungkook, then at her Appa.

"It's done already. Should I serve the food?" he replied to Mr. Lee's question, and both of them left Y/n alone there and went inside the kitchen.

She went behind them and saw them working together inside the kitchen. They put everything in bowls and served it on the dining table.

"You serve the food, I'll be back," Mr. Lee said to Y/n and went to the washroom beside the stairs. As soon as he left, she grabbed Jungkook's hand and brought him inside the kitchen.

"What was that all about? How did you get in, and did he know about us?" She bombarded him with a volley of questions. He looked at her and then checked if her Appa had returned.

"Yes, he knows about us, and he is the one who brought me here," he said, and soon her Appa came back. Jungkook went outside.

"Sit here," he said to Jungkook, and he sat next to him. "Y/n, come, let's eat together," Mr. Lee called her. She came outside and sat in front of him with her hands folded.

"What was all that?" she asked.

"Why don't you eat first? He made most of the dishes himself," Mr. Lee said, gesturing towards Jungkook and starting to slurp the soup.

"Do you know who he is?" she asked.

"Yes, I know," Mr. Lee said, and she looked at them.

"So, did you like me?" Jungkook asked Mr. Lee, out of nowhere.

"Wait a minute," she said looking at Jungkook and he kept quiet.  "Appa, why don't you tell me?" she asked, sitting beside him.

"Surprise!" Mr. Lee said to Y/n. "And yes, I like you," Mr. Lee said to him. "Now, eat first, otherwise the food will get cold," Mr. Lee said, and all of them started eating.

Flashback starts

"Where are we going?" Mr. Lee asked Taehyung after he started the car.

"I'll tell you, but first I wanted to tell you that Y/n doesn't like me. So, I can't marry her," he said, and Mr. Lee looked at him.

"I knew it already, she told me yesterday," Mr. Lee said, and Taehyung got a little surprised.

"Did she tell you that she likes someone else?" he asked.

"Yes, she mentioned that she likes someone else. And I told her to bring him home this weekend," Mr. Lee said, and Taehyung smirked a little.

"Really? So, we're going to meet him," he said, and stopped the car in front of a restaurant.

"Does he work here?" Mr. Lee asked.

"Kind of," he said, and they entered.

"I thought it was a restaurant, but it's a café," Mr. Lee said, entering.

"It's a café cum restaurant. The ground floor is all café, and above is the restaurant," he said, and they both sat in a seat in the café. "And did you know whose idea this is? Y/n. She finalised this design," he said, and Mr. Lee got shocked to see all of it.
