"So that's it." I say with a huff. I had never told anyone the story of how my mother left me and my dad all the way through.

"Wow. I can't believe she could just do something like that." Josh says

"Yeah in the end the court told her she had to pay for her and I to go to counseling but she never did so she can't take us back to court because they'll fine her for not doing as told." I say

"Well if you don't mind me asking, would you want to go to counseling and try to build a relationship with her?" He says

"My dad wants me to so if it came down to it, I would for him. But I don't...... It's hard to want to have a relationship with someone who walked out on you." I say with my head down

"I know it may be hard to believe because I haven't went through anything like that, but I understand. And if you ever need to talk to anyone I'm here for you Sarah." Josh says looking down at me

"Thanks." I say "Now it's my turn to ask you a question."

"What?" says Josh a little shocked

"What? You didn't think that you could learn everything about me while I learn nothing about you." I say smirking

"Okay go ahead ask anything." He says chuckling

"Okay so why is it that we had literally every class together last year and this year and you never said anymore to me than a simple 'Hi.' until now?" I ask

"Well I always thought that you thought I was just some rich kid that got everything." He says

"What? I never thought that." That's a lie . "Well maybe a little but I always thought you were smart and polite."

"Really?" He asks looking surprised

"Yes really." I reply "Well it's getting a little late I better get going, I'll see you later. Bye." I say as we near or vehicles and I unlock my doors and get in.

"No, I don't think that if you put ice cream and hot fudge on pizza it would taste good." I say laughing at Cara's stupidity

"Yeah I second that. That would taste absolutely disgusting." says Walt scrunching his face up

"Whatever you guys are just jealous that you didn't think of it first." says Cara

"Sure that's what it is." Walt replies

"Anyway, Sarah will you please come up here and sit with me. I really don't want to sit up here all by myself." says Cara

"Bitch. No. You never want her to sit with you any other day and now you want her to sit with you just because Lily isn't here." says Walt

"That is not what happens. Now Sarah come up here." says Cara defensively

"Bitch if you even think about it I will personally get out of this seat and tackle you both to the floor. Then I will slowly cut your Achilles' tendon and walk out as you cry." Walt says "Sooo, your choice."

"Sorry Cara I think I'll stay here." I say

"Good idea." says Walt. Just then Josh walks over to where we sit.

"Hey is this seat taken?" Josh asks Cara

"Um, no." Is all she says in reply

"Great." He says as he sits down and turns around to join our conversation. "So what are we talking about?"
