Chapter 12

"Sarah! Wake up!" Cara shouts jumping on top of me as I lay in my bed.

"I'm up." I say, lazily as I roll over and pulls the covers over my head.

"No you're not. Get up!" She says still jumping on me

"Cara. I. Am. Up. Now get off me!"

"Oh good you're up." Elijah says walking in with Josh

"Why are you all here?"

"Duh, we have our meeting today." Josh says taking a bite out of an apple

"Oh okay. Well then boys, begone. I must be getting ready." I say as I walk towards the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. When I come back they are goon and Cara's sitting on my bed watching television.

"So what are you going to wear?"

"Not sure, maybe this?" I say holding up a white blouse and jeans.

"No. Cute, but I think we all are going business casual." Cara says. She's wearing a green dress with white birds on it along with nude pumps, and her auburn hair is in a bun with a white bow.

"How about this?" I ask holding up a black tube skirt and a light blue blouse with white detailing.

"That's definitely it. Now go change."

I walk to my bathroom and change quickly then open the door to let Cara know I've finished and start on my makeup.

"Okay boys you may come back!" Cara yells once I open the door.

"Hey guys." I say as I start putting on eyeshadow

"Yeah." Cara replies

"I hope you all don't mind but I'm going to start vlogging today."

"Really?" Josh asks

"Yeah I figure now's a good a time as any."

"Okay." They all say

I quickly curl my hair and put on a few accessories then slip into a pair of black flats. I sprits on some perfume and grab my purse as we walk out of my room. We walk outside where I see that Elijah picked up Cara and Josh. We ride together to where the meeting was going to be held. Once we get there we give our names to the receptionist and she tells us to go to the sixth floor, it's the last door on the right. We take the elevator up and knock on the door. Mr. Hints opens the door and greets us as we introduce him to Elijah and Cara. There are five other people there, the two other judges, two other women and a man.

We sit through the meeting for 45 minutes not saying anything because everyone else was sorting out various details of event. After they finish they begin talking to us. They tell us we will be flying first class, we were each allowed one suitcase each, we would get two rooms each with one bed. They obviously thought that Cara and Elijah were together. They told us details about everything, they also informed us that this was a white tie event and that we would be provided with dresses and tuxes. They lastly told us a car would come to pick us up at the airport and take us to the hotel. We wrapped up the meeting that started at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, because they had to postpone it from Wednesday, at 1:00 P.M.

We all decided to go get some lunch then we would start working on details for the event. We only had a week before we would be leaving for New York so we had to start immediately. We also had to work on Josh's video, because the day after we got back he had to premiere it in front of the entire student body and most of the town because our teacher Mrs. Lewis got an ad in the paper and a story on the local news for everyone to come and see it.
