Taylor's POV:

"Yo Mister T." Tim runs up to me as he tackles me to the floor.

I only laugh and push him off me. "Get off asshole."
he smirks and helps me off the ground.

That is when I was handed my first beer of the night. I look at the drink and just take in my surroundings.

There was many drunken teens already. Which I didn't look away from. It was only a typical Friday night in Nashville. Tons of fine girls, tons of booze, tons of music, and best of all, no worries.

I take the last sip of my beer as I head towards the back of the house. The guys were all hanging out by the pool. Most of them were already shirtless and talking to some of the younger girls.

I wouldn't even look twice at these slutty freshmen who are just trying to sleep with any senior that comes their way. Trying to climb up the social later.

Nah, that wasn't my style. I like a challenge. I enjoy the chase.

And then I spot her.

Through my lashes, I see her dark hair wave around as she laughs along with some guy.

"What a fucken brick. Am I right?" Tim says as he notices where my eyes have landed on.

"Who?" I say tearing my sight from them.

"That fucktard that's talking your girl up." He says as he hands me another beer.

"Who? Gabby?" he nods. "Nah, that's not my girl. We're just friends."

"Bullshit and you know it. The whole fucken school knows you two are always banging." He smirks. "Just go talk to her."

"She looks busy." I say as I shotgun my beer. I proceed to open another one right after.

"With that guy? Come on Taylor. We both know who she is really going home with. And we know it isn't going to be him." I laugh and push him in the chest.

"Well, we'll just have to see about that, won't we?"

I lean against the pillar of the house. She was still so busy talking to him. Not once did she look my way. But she didn't have to. Gabby and I had a special sort of bond you see. Sometimes she would sneak into my room. Sometimes I would sneak into hers. We both just wanted one thing and one thing only. She understood I wasn't looking for any relationship, and she accepted that. Besides why fix something that isn't broken.

I threw the beer on the floor and proceeded to walk up beside her.

Her giggling stopped when she spotted me.

"Hey." She says as she looks over to her guy friend.

"Hey Gabs." I look over at the guy. "Taylor." I extend my hand.

"Jason."

I clear my throat to which Gabby responded with a sigh.

"Uh, Jason, would you mind just give me a minute."
He looks at me and nods. "Sure thing Gabby."

I wait until he is out of hearing distance and press myself against her.

"What are you doing tonight?"

She rolls her eyes. "Look T. I'm here with Jason tonight. Why don't you go and take another one of those floozy chicks with you."

I shake my head. "Well I know I could. Easily. Come on, I'm Taylor fucken York." She tries hard to hide a smile. "But I don't want any other girl. You see I have one specific in mind."
