21. Would It Kill You To Leave Me Alone?
"R-russell... I think.. I think I know who-"
"Knock knock!" a voice said.
I looked at the door, exasperated. "Hello, Tom." I said politely, thinking of ways to get rid of him.
Russell, however, didn't seem to mind. He actually welcomed his hated dad in.
"We leaving now?" Tom asked, sitting really close to me.
Russell nodded.
I took in Tom's clothes for the first time. He was wearing a suit and a tie, with fancy shoes.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked.
Tom smiled. "To meet Russell's mother."

I've been tailing them for the last hour. I was back in my fancy dress I wore to my date with Russell and I was losing patience quickly.
"My patience isn't that amazing." I muttered as I stepped on the accelerator.
Twenty minutes later, I parked in front of 2 familiar valet parkers.
I handed them a 20 dollar bill since I knew them, and told them to take care of my car.
Putting the slip of paper in my jacket pocket, I walked into Julian Trust.
I spotted the Remurs almost immediately. Everyone was staring at them, especially the women.
"I need a spot near them two." I said to the waiter, nodding my head at Russell and Tom.
The waiter nodded and directed me to the table diagonal from them. The empty seat was facing me. I was safe.
I ordered what I got last time, pasta and shrimp, which was the cheapest thing here, and waited.
I don't know what I expected when Russell's Mom showed. If anything, I guess I expected Miss. Laden's slim form walking toward them with her walking stick.
It definitely wasn't expecting a girl with an obvious breast implant, light blonde hair that looked like a barbie doll's, and dark green eyes.
I almost fell out of my seat when the woman walked toward Russell, with her arms open, saying, "My Russ!"
I glanced at Russell''s face. his mouth was open, his eyes wide, and he made no move to touch the woman that was supposedly his mom.
"Russell, this is Katty, your mother." Tom introduced, his eyes never leaving Katty's midriff.
Russell just muttered, "Hi. I need to go to the bathroom."
This is my chance. I got up from my uneaten pasta and sat in Russell's seat. Tom looked up, surprised, and the woman looked like she was about to call security
"Libby! What are you doing here?" Tom asked, his eyes looking everywhere but my face.
I smiled sweetly. "I just wanted to meet the amazing woman that gave birth to Sully."
Tom relaxed and motioned toward Katty like she was the result of a magic trick. "This is her."
I turned to Katty. "So, what number wife are you?"
Katty regarded me with a guarded expression. "26."
I propped my elbows on the table and leaned forward. "How old is your son?"
