Tobais POV
It's Sunday and I feel nerves every inch of my body, tomorrow, I will be able to sit at a table with other people, that I hope don't tease me. I have been friend's with all of them, until a year ago when no one liked me, I was friend's with a lot of people and it will feel weird to go back and say "Hey, I know you don't like me so just leave". Tris is a god friend and maybe too good to be my friend, I'm not good for her, I'm like a drug, i'm bad but the difference is that no one is addicted to me.
I creep slowly towards the hall and down the stairs, checking if Marcus is here, I check the last place and let out a sigh of relief, he isn't here. I head to the kitchen and grab a apple and bit onto it, the juice spills on my boxers and I shrug, though no one is here. I am only in my boxers when I hear the doorbell ring, I jump with fear and then walk towards the door and open it.
"Hey." Tris says with a smile.
"Uh- he-hey." I say embarrassed as she looks at my boxers.
"It's alright. I have a brother." She laughs and I still feel my cheeks warm.
"So... what's up?" I ask.
"Just wanted to say hello. If your not busy maybe we could work on the report?" She says still with a smile.
"I'm not busy, I never am but I do work out in the afternoon." I say and her smile grows.
"I workout too. Where do you want to work? My brother is home." She says rolling her eyes.
"My dad isn't here." I choke the words "So here is good."
"I brought the things." She says and I open the door so she can walk in.
"What a gentleman." She says with a small laugh.
"It probably looks weird because I have no pants on." I say and she cracks up.
"I should clean up a little." I say and she nods as I run up the stairs and throw everything in my closet then I run back down and she follows me into my bedroom. It's a green theme, kind of blue, and a little black, my sheets are green and my walls are dark blue with a white rug on my floor which brightens the room and most my furniture is black or dark. She looks around and touches some things with the tip of her index finger as she walks around my room with her eyes twitching in every direction.
"Interesting room." She says sitting on my bed.
"Thank you?" I say and she laugh.
"I laugh a lot, sorry." She says gathering the papers, but I love her laugh it is beautiful from the start to the end, the way you can hear her voice in the middle and it fades to a cuter giggle. She has perfectly white teeth, she always how's when she laughs, a big wide laugh, with her girly personality.
"You have a pretty laugh." Shit, I said that out loud. To Tris.
"Thanks, your smile is cute." She says and I snort.
I think about me, my laughs probably sounds like a dark voice, with my ugly brown eyes squinting a little but barley and my teeth are like horse teeth plus my lips are weak, they look like ice has covered all of it and never comes off. I blink away my thoughts and sit next to her and she shows me some pictures. We do a of work, I wish we kissed, I wish I could push my lips onto hers, they look like good at kissing, there not small and not big, they're perfect, I want her to wrap her arms around me and take off my shirt and me take of hers- wait, that'll never happen, shut the fuck up Tobias!
~*~
On Monday I wear my normal black outfit, most of my outfits are black or black with a streak of white on the side. I push my hair back and smile, I never smile, I always feel like I'm controlled by my father or my life isn't really a life, it's an experiment. I get in my car and drive to school , my face is weird, it's like an oval but the chin is more out than all my other facial pieces, my chin stands out.
