Maria-Stella

He kissed me! He fucking kissed me! Who the fuck does he think he is? I asked myself, as I walked back down to my car. Michael Clifford was so fucking confusing, why couldn't he just treat me exactly like he had for the last seven years? Like I didn't exist. But no, now he wants to change. I really didn't get it, but I suppose I'd have to, seeing as we were going to be spending God knows how long together, most likely just us two.

I was completely nervous about Calum's plan, I mean how the fuck were we meant to jump out of moving sports cars and survive? It sounds a little ridiculous to me, but I guess Calum's the expert.
I started my car, and headed towards Natasha's; I needed to tell her everything about how I'd decided to run with Michael. She knew I was considering it, but she didn't know I'd decided to go through with it. I couldn't tell her through text or a phone call. She was my best friend. She deserved to be told in person.

Twenty minutes later I pulled up to her front gate and pressed the buzzer, "Hello?" a voice came through the speaker attached
"Hi, it's Stella Deangelo," I replied
"Come in Miss Deangelo," the voice spoke, the gates opened and I drove inside the gates, into Natasha's sprawling front yard. I parked my car, jumped out and walked to the front door
"Oh Stella darling, how wonderful to see you," Natasha's mum, Katherine said giving me a small yet tight hug
"Hi Katherine, how are you?" I replied
"I'm good thank you dear, and you?"
"I'm well thanks," I told her, it was a lie. What Michael had said to me earlier and what he had done, still had my head reeling. I just hoped that I was doing a good job of concealing my real feelings
"Oh lovely, just lovely," the polite woman spoke, "now Natasha's just up in her room,"
"Okay, thanks Katherine," I told her and headed up to Natasha's room.

"Hey Stel, what's up doll? You don't look so good," she said
"I knew I wouldn't be able to hide it from you," I sighed
"So what's up?"
"So there's a couple of things I need to tell you,"
"Go on..." She said
"Okay, so number one," I began, "I've decided to take Michael up on his offer,"
"Oh my God, what?" She squealed, "you're seriously going to run away?"
"Yeah I am," I told her, "it's for the best, if his family get wind of my family having a hit in Michael, then they're gonna put one on me, or even worse Ari,"
"Do you really think they'd kill Ari?" She asked
"I don't know," I sighed, "they'd at least kill one of us, or both,"
"What are Michael's parents like anyway?" She asked, "are they like yours or?"
"I honestly don't know, from what I've heard, the Clifford's are big on using their own product,"
"And yours aren't?" She questioned
"Papa does occasionally when we've made a new batch, same with mama,"
"And Tony?"
"He uses," I said, "not to the point of addiction, but he'll pop pills and snort lines when he goes out,"
"Okay, don't kill me for asking this," she began, "but does Michael use?"
"I don't think so, why would he want to run away, if he did?" I shot back
"Good point," she said, "so back to the other thing you had to tell me?"
"Ugh, I don't know how to say this," I said
"Just tell me," I needed to tell someone, but at the same time I didn't want anyone to know, least of all have them know, I enjoyed it, just a little
"Okay," I gave in, "hekissedme," I spoke really quickly
"What was that?" She asked, "and speak slower,"
"mi baciò," I said in Italian (he kissed me)
"Okay, now in English?" She said, "I love you Stel, and I get that you speak in Italian when you're nervous and shit, but dude you know I don't understand it,"
"Okay, okay," I gave in again, raising my hands in defeat, "he kissed me,"
"What? Who kissed you?" She asked, "did that Calum guy kiss you?" Sometimes Natasha really was a dumb blonde
"No idiot," I laughed, "why would Calum kiss me?"
"I don't know, but that would mean?" She paused for a second, "oh my god, that means Michael kissed you!"
"You hit the nail on the head with that one," I said monotonously
"But why?" She asked, she was just as confused as I am
"He said something when we were talking about the plan, on how well escape,"
"What did he say?" She asked
"He said he didn't want anyone getting hurt, especially me," I told her, "he said it quietly, but I was sitting next to him and heard it, Calum thought he heard it, but Michael brushed it off,"
"What do you think he means?" She asked
"I don't know,"
"Do you think he might actually have feelings for you?"
"I doubt that," I scoffed, "if he did, he wouldn't have spent the last seven years of our lives ignoring me and treating me like I don't exist,"
"Maybe he's liked you this whole time," she suggested
