ASPEN'S POV.

Mack and I stood there speechless, unable to move, just waiting for what was to come.

SIKE.

"RUN!" Mack shrieked as we both sprinted down the hallway to our next class.

There was NO way in hell that I was going to get bullied AGAIN today.

We both sprinted, taking sharp turns or hiding behind people, just trying to make the most obstacles.

I took a small glance back to see a very pissed off Ethan and Grayson sprinting after us.

But thankfully, we made it to class, we both sat down in our assigned seats, which at this moment I was so thanking the lord for.

Grayson and Ethan both entered the class shortly after, giving both of us death glares as they sat in their seats.

At least I don't have to deal with those wackjobs right now.

"Okay class, so I decided for today, that you guys will be assigned a project. You will need to write a two paged essay and actually make/do an experiment and record the data and explain what happens in your essay." My chemistry teacher explained.

Suddenly a hand shot up, out of nowhere, litterally.

My teacher stopped talking and pointed at him.

"Yes what is it Gabe?" My teacher questioned, obviously annoyed that he had to stop his lesson.

"Will we get to have a partner? And if we do can we chose them?" Gabe questioned, making everyone look hopefully.

"Great question Gabe, I'm glad you brought that up. Yes, you guys will be allowed partners, but no, I have already written down who you'll be partnered with." My teacher smiled, as if this was pure torture.

Everyone in the class groaned, not wanting to have any participation in this project.

"Alright so I'm gonna go ahead and call out the partner names and you can start getting to work." My teacher clapped his hands together and picked up his clipboard.

"Alright so.. Jamie and Max, Allison and Bradi, Caleb and Julia, Mack and Tanner, Haley and Ethan, and Grayson and Aspen." My teacher took off his glasses and smiled.

"Alright now everyone sit with your partner and get to work, you have the rest of this block." He smiled and went and sat down at his desk.

Uncomfrontably, I glanced over at Grayson who looked like he was about to kill someone.

I slowly got up and sat next to him, not daring to say anything, because honestly, I don't feel like getting punched right now.

I could see him take small glances at me and it was starting to piss me off.

"What?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.

His eyebrows scrunched together in confusion, like I spoke some other fucking language.

"You know what, I'll just do the project by myself and put your name on it okay? Because I really can't deal with you." I motioned my hand at him and shook my head sighing.

"Whoa, who said that I wasn't gonna help you?" Grayson questioned, which honestly caught me off guard.

"I just figured because you hated me so much, that I'd just do it myself. Isn't that how bullies usually do this shit?" I questioned him, my mind completely blown at this point.

"Look, I'm not gonna make you do this whole thing on your own." Grayson spoke, as if I believed that.

"Yeah I am, you know that too." I insisted, crossing my arms.
