Prologue:
-----Avery's P.O.V------
"go ahead Avery."
the music started and i could feel the judges eyes on me. it all starts here. i started the dance feeling the rhythm of the music and matching the beat with my tap. i tried my best to smile but it kept dropping to my nervous lip bite. suddenly i messed up one of my steps and fell flat on my butt. i knew i shouldn't stop but i just sat there i didn't try to get up.
"can i-can i start over?"
"no thanks we've seen enough."
and with that i walked out. tears sprang to my eyes and made there way down my cheeks as i pulled my tap shoes off. i blew it. i totally blew it.
