Chapter 14 part 2

---------Avery's P.O.V-------

Just as I was walking away the un-expected happened.....

Derek grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him. He pressed his lips against mine and for a second just a second it felt nice to remember what we used to be like but then the cold hard slap of reality hit it. I pushed him away and then did what any teen girl would do...i slapped him.

"Avery i'm sory..." he started but I didn't let him finish i just walked away.

"Can we go home," i asked Celina. She nodded and we walked outside. We sat down on a beautiful bench outside in the middle of the garden and i called Sam.

"Hey sam mind picking us up?"

"Woah no way the party is already over."

"It's not something happened and I just wanna go home."

at the moment i started crying.

"Oh babe i'll be there as soon as i can."

"Okay thank you."

"Bye love you."

we blew little kisses into the phone and then i hung up.

"How are you gunna tell Sam what happened," Celina asked me.

That's when I started crying even more. She was right Sam's gunna want to know what happened.

"How can i tell him that I kissed another guy," I asked.

"You didn't he kissed you if anything sam will beat the shit outa that douche," celina said making me smile.

After like 15 minutes Sam's car pulled up and we got in. Well I was about to get in when suddenly a voice behind me shouted out.

"Avery wait!"

I turned around and saw Derek running up to me.

"Leave me alone Derek," i said getting into the car and shutting the door. I nodded at Sam and he drove away.

The whole way home it was silent. Awkwardly silent. When we got home Dmitri ran over and gave Celina a hug then they went back to Celina's room.

Me and sam went back to my room and he sat down beside me on the bed. "So tell me what happened," he asked looking at me right in the eye.

I explained everything that happened making sure to remind him that Derek kissed me.

He looked at me fora few moments then sighed. "I'm just glad your okay," he said eventually wrapping his arms around me and kissing my forehead.
