---------Avery's POV------
I woke up lying in bed in Sam's arms. I smiled and was about to wake him up when I realized what today is. My audition.
My palms got all sweaty and suddenly I felt like I couldn't breath. I started shaking Sam wildly to wake him up.
"Morning, wait what's wrong," he said the second he saw my face.
"It's today," I managed to get out between sobs.
"Relax babe you'll do great," he said wrapping me up in a big bear hug.
"What if I screw up," I asked.
"You won't screw up you'll do amazing trust me," he said with a smile. I nodded and got up. I walked into the kitchen and...
"Suprise," celina and dmitri both yelled. I looked at the table and there was a massive breakfast set up. Pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs and more.
I walked over to them and gave them both giant hugs then sat down to eat with Sam, Celina and Dmitri.
After breakfast I went to get ready. I put on my purple sports bra, my favourite one from Marina's and my dance shorts.
I did 30 minutes of stretching and then went to go so my hair and makeup.
I pulled my hair into a high pony tail and bobby pinned the fly aways then applied light makeup. I smothered on some lip gloss and looked at myself in the mirror. I'm as ready as i'll ever be, i thought to myself.
"You ready to go," Sam called.
"Yup," I called back walking out of the room.
-------At the Audition-------
"First we will do a quick interview then move on to the actual interview," Sam's mom a.k.a the studio owner explained to me.
I nodded to afraid to speak. I followed her into her office and immediately smiled. There was a picture of Sam as a little baby on her desk.
"I thought you might like that picture," she said smiling. "Take a seat." she nodded toward the chair across from her.
I sat down and the interview began.
"How long have you been dancing," she asked.
"since i was 3 so 14 years," I answered.
After about 15 more questions like that we moved onto the actual audition.
Suddenly I was nervous again. My palms started to sweat and I had trouble breathing. I felt like I was going to pass out.
"go ahead Avery," Sam's mom said.
The music started and i could feel the judges eyes on me. It all starts here.
I started the dance feeling the rhythm of the music and matching the beat with my tap. I tried my best to smile but it kept dropping to my nervous lip bite. Suddenly i messed up one of my steps and fell flat on my butt. I knew I shouldn't stop but i just sat there i didn't try to get up.
"can i-can i start over?"
"no thanks we've seen enough."
And with that i walked out. Tears sprang to my eyes and made there way down my cheeks as i pulled my tap shoes off. I blew it. I totally blew it.
I got in a taxi and made my way home. The second I walked in the door everyone surrounded me.
"How was it," Celina asked.
"I screwed up," I muttered walking into my room and slamming the door. My life is over.
