As the two were about to have lunch, K.C. started to chop down the door. Mitch and Jerome turned around to see a blue blade sticking out of the door. The blade was then pulled back out to come down on the door again. Jerome suddenly recognized the situation and began to run towards the swords. Mitch followed Jerome to the swords and armed himself. The door was disintegrating as they ran, but they were able to grab a sword before the door was reduced to splinters. K.C. stood in front of the pile of splinters, holding the axe in both hands and his eyes scanning Jerome. Mitch stood between him and Jerome ,they stared at each other their red eyes reflecting the insanity in each one.
"Oh come on Mitch. Let me just kill him. There is no chance for him." K.C. said.
Mitch didn't reply but he took a step towards him. K.C. looked at Mitch and his smile became bigger. K.C. shook his head in disappointment and began to walk towards Mitch. Mitch became nervous but he still held his ground. K.C. kept going even when Mitch tried to slice his head off. When that happened K.C. just moved out of the way(like a boss) and pushed Mitch out of the way. Mitch stumbled back hitting the wall and hitting his head hard on it as well. The hit caused blood to trickle down Mitch's light ,brown hair as K.C. walked closer to Jerome. Jerome was now worried and backed away from the advancing K.C., he didn't have Mitch as his guard any more. He was alone and he was definitely going to die. K.C. looked at Jerome ,his axe reflecting the fear on his face. Mitch looked up weakly seeing K.C. Nearing Jerome. He couldn't stop him, he knew he couldn't avoid it.
"No..." Mitch whispered, he reached out to Jerome.
His arm fell back on him ,limp, he couldn't save him and his vision was becoming darker. K.C. was now so close to Jerome ,he could just kill him then and there, but he didn't yet. He looked over his shoulder to see the now unconscious Mitch. He smiled then turned back to Jerome who is shaking uncontrollably.
"I love it when I get to kill you."
Jerome kept shivering but he was confused to hear that. What, Jerome thought. His mind raced as K.C.'s smile became wider. The axe touched Jerome's chin which made Jerome lift his head to look up. Jerome's eyes met with K.C.'s , he chuckled and took the axe off of Jerome's chin leaving a cut on him. K.C. looked at the blade seeing a drop of blood sliding down the blade. He looked back at Jerome, who is to scared to move. His sword was rendered useless the moment K.C. threw Mitch to the wall, but Jerome kept holding on to the sword. His sword is still in his hand which Jerome couldn't hold up due to that K.C. couldn't give him enough room. K.C. was taking his sweet time, Jerome thought until K.C. raised the axe above his head. K.C. swiftly brought down the axe upon Jerome's skull. The sound of metal hitting bone filled the room as K.C. hacked at Jerome's head. Jerome couldn't even scream before K.C. struck the axe on him. He could only see the blade come down on him.
K.C. kept hacking until Jerome's head was no longer, it was now a bloody mess splattered on the walls and floor brains, bones, and flesh everywhere. K.C. pulled his axe out of Jerome's head and admired his work. Blood covered his clothes, face, and some of it managed to reach Mitch. He's only been hacking for about ten minutes and he's proud of his new record. He chuckled then turned around to look at his upcoming opponent. Mitch was still unconscious and the bleeding slowed to a thin trickle as K.C. finished Jerome. K.C. pitied the poor soul, and for the first time ,he left a rag for Mitch.
"The time is nearing Mitch." And with that K.C. left the room, and down to the secret passage in the dining room, down into his hell.
K.C. went down into his dark room where the only things you can see is the three glowing doors. K.C. went to the middle door which brought him to a staircase leading down. K.C. went down the stairs, swinging his axe in glee, humming a song. He kept going down the stairs until he saw a glow at the bottom. He made it to the bottom and now he was illuminated int he glow which was created by flowing lava. The lava was way below the platform in the middle of the room, but it was still emitting a glow. He walked on to the platform which was diamond shaped and went to the middle. In the middle was a chest which had nothing in it, and yet it stayed in the arena. K.C. sighed then looked at the bloody axe, looking at his bloody face which was still smiling.
"Oh you will have fun, Betty. You enjoyed the last games." K.C. said to the axe.
And with that K.C. went back to the dark room and leaned on the wall opposite of the doors. He needed to be at his best to enjoy his up coming fight.
