Jerome looks at Mitch to see him cower in terror. He never saw his buddy cower before. His used to be brave buddy was no longer that anymore. The others looked at Mitch and tried to calm him down. After a few minutes after the laughing, Mitch seems to be better and now trying to figure out what is going on.

"What does he mean by game? Is this supposed to be fun?!" Vikk frantically asks.

"Maybe this is a game to him, but not us." Mitch replies, pacing infront of the couch.

"If its a game to him, what is it to us then?" Preston says ,still jamming at the door.

"I don't know, but I don't think it's good, if he locked us in." Rob states.

They continue asking questions, which keep being answered by 'I don't know's. The clock's ticks could not be heard by the gang's rumbling stomachs. It turns out in their panic it was already 8:00. As Mitch still paces around, Lachlan decided to cook dinner. Once dinner was ready ,everyone forgot about their and just stuffed their faces. The dinning room was filled with the sounds of chewing, and a couple of burps. The rooms atmosphere all of a sudden turned from calm and relaxed to sinister. A chill went throughout the room ,sending a chill down everyone's spine. The pack quickly swallowed their meal, and tried to rush out the room. They quickly dashed out, but then Jerome's shirt was pulled violently, pulling him back into the room.

"Hey guys help!" Jerome yelled as he was being pulled back by something, or someone.

"No, Jerome!" Lachlan yells as his friend was being pulled away from him.

Jerome grabbed onto doorpost trying to pull away from the entity. Lachlan reached to grab Jerome's as the others ran back to help them. Lachlan grabbed Jerome's hand and pulled against the thing. Jerome could feel his shirt tearing in the entity's grasp ,but kept a firm grasp on him. The others pulled on Jerome's other hand, and felt the thing's grasp slacken.

"Jerome hold on for me!" Mitch yells as he tries his best to hold on to his best friend.

Then with a tear Jerome tumbles forward, and the others fall back as the entity loses its grip on Jerome. The whole gang lays on the floor catching their breath, and Jerome just crawls away from the dinning room. After regaining their breath, the pack gets up and walks back to the couch all of them a bit shaken up. Jerome looks back at the dinning room over his shoulder, looking for a part of his shirt to see nothing laying there. Jerome turns back to see Mitch at his side.

"You okay, buddy?"

"Mitch, what just happened? First the 'game' and now this. I think he's messing with us."

"Hey, just be relieved that you came out alive and in one piece." Mitch says trying to make the best out of the worst.

Jerome chuckles at his friend's try at a joke after that terrifying moment. They catch up to the others to the couch. When they see the couch, they see the other four hovering over a sticky note on the couch. There was some writing on the note. The four looked up to see the two standing behind them. Preston was holding the note, then handed it to Mitch.

"M-mitch. You need to see this." Preston stuttered.

Mitch takes the note from his hand and reads, with Jerome pearling over his shoulder.

It stated:

Dear my esteemed guests,

Welcome to my game. So I see you have already seen my strength, stronger than all of you. So I know what all of you are thinking, how am I able to keep you in someone else's home. Well it's simple really, I took control. It's my house now. Now to explain my game. It's simple, I kill you all die. Don't even try to escape for it only brings your deaths closer. I may sound like a lunatic but I am not. I am as sane as all of you right now. Also my game has no rules, you can do whatever you want, and so can I. Well this is my hello and goodbye to you, I hope you enjoy my game.

   Sincerely, K.C.

Mitch read the note again, making sure he wasn't missing anything important. This note was unnerving, not because it was a death threat, but it had the exact handwriting as Mitch.

"Um, Preston where did you find this note?" Mitch asks.

"I found it on the couch." Preston answered.

"Mitch? Why does it have your handwriting?" Jerome asks behind Mitch.

"I-I didn't write it biggums, I was with all of you."

"Well whoever wrote it copied you." Rob states, raising his eyebrow not trusting Mitch.

"Mitch, is this a prank? If it is then I am very displeased." Vikk said.

"N-no Vikk it isn't, if it was a prank I wouldn't be with you sometimes."

"Okay okay, I believe you, but what the hell is going on?" Vikk said.

"Didn't you read the note ,mate? We are playing some game, which involves death." Lachlan answered.

Mitch watched his friends talking about what was going on. How could this happen so quickly, everything was perfectly fine yesterday, Mitch asked himself. He is trapped in a house with his friends and a psychopath. His friends next to him in perfect condition, but a psychopath with the hunger to kill going by the acronym K.C.

"Mitch, please tell us you have a plan to save us?" Rob said as he grabbed the hem of Mitch's shirt.

"Chill man-"

"Chill?! How can I chill when someone is out to kill us?"

"Don't worry Rob, we can stay in my room and just hope K.C. won't get in." Mitch said as he pried a desperate Rob of his shirt.

"Okay then, so we will need food, water, and something to keep the door shut." Lachlan said.

"Well lets not split up just in case the monster won't attack. If it's only one person then we could handle him if we're together, right?" Vikk stated.

"Are sure? It grabbed Jerome and he nearly died, but sticking together is the best option." Rob interjected.

The group first went off to the kitchen, all they got was fruits, cereal, and other things that won't need a fridge to stay fresh. Mitch went off to the other side of the kitchen to grab a whole package of water. The group's hands were full of supplies, they trekked up towards Mitch's room. The door was open which was great for them. Lachlan was in the lead and fumbled to turn on the light. Once it was on ,they got inside the master bedroom and Jerome kicked the door closed. They set down their supplies on Mitch's desk and took a breather. The group made it up to the room and no one was scathed. Rob sat down on the bed and ruffled his hair. So did the others, but Vikk stayed up to barricade the door. He pulled a chair to the door, and placed some heavy books on, so it won't topple forward if anyone pushed the door.

"Well it's not the best place to stay, but it will have to do." Mitch said under his breath.

"Well it's secure and has space for all of us." Lachlan said enthusiastically.

The group was tired and noticed the moon has risen to one fourth up the sky. It was late and the pack needed to rest, so Mitch, Rob, and Preston took the bed as Jerome, Vikk, and Lachlan took the floor.

"Why do I have to sleep on the floor?" Lachlan fussed.

"Stop whining and go to sleep." Jerome mumbled.

Vikk went off to turn off the light, and aimlessly came back to his 'bed' and laid down to rest.
