Mitch's eyes fluttered open as he came back to the world. His vision started out blurry and all he could see was red in front of him. Sweat started to form on his brow as his vision started to clear, and he could see what was in front of him. At first , all he could make out was a body on the opposite of him until he could see who it was.
He saw Jerome's body covered in blood and his head smashed into a bloody pulp. The blood stained the wall and floor around Jerome, and the blood stained the bottom of Mitch's jeans and shoes. Mitch's mind raced to see his massacred friend in front of him, he lost another friend and he was alone now. He couldn't handle another loss but he needed to stay strong for them.
The sword he lost laid by his feet covered in flecks of dry blood. Mitch forced himself up, he was weak and the bleeding didn't stop yet. He finally got up and grabbed the sword in the process. When he stood up a brown rag fell off his lap to the ground. Mitch looked down on the rag and reached down for it. The rag was long enough to wrap around his head, and it can cover his wound. Mitch looked at it and decided to cover his wound so it can properly heal. He picked it up and wrapped it around the wound and tying it on his forehead. It was covered by his tangled, matted hair with only the knot showing on his forehead.
He looked back on Jerome and paid his respects. He had a mini funeral for him, he talked about about his best friend. He talked about how he first met him and so on. He soon ended it by leaving the room. He left with only a sword and nothing else.
He didn't go to look for a new room to stay in, but he went to go have revenge. He couldn't stand it anymore, K.C. took too many people away from him. Mitch wanted to kill K.C. he wanted to make sure he felt true pain. Mitch walked down the hall ,towards the stairs and to the first floor. He didn't stop when he thought of cruel ways to kill K.C. He wasn't holding back his dark side anymore, he was letting it flourish. As his thoughts became clustered with treacherous ones ,his other eye slowly turned red.
Mitch made it to the first floor to see Rob's lifeless body in the kitchen. The blood already dried with the body decomposing. Mitch just looked over him and continued his search for K.C. He didn't see him anywhere in the other rooms, but he can find him in his own house. The kitchen had nothing then Mitch heard a click and a door in the dining room.
He poked his head into the dining room and saw K.C. in there. Mitch watched him in the darkness both of their eyes glowing in the dark. K.C. held his axe and a secret door was still opened behind him. Mitch watched him look around the room then he saw Mitch at the doorway. K.C. smiled at Mitch's appearance and Mitch greeted him with a snarl. Mitch stepped out of the light and into the dark, his silhouette matching K.C.'s.
"Well ,I'm glad you came here." K.C. said ,breaking the silence.
"Well I'm glad to find you." Mitch answered.
K.C. snickered and motioned at Mitch for him to follow him. Mitch had no idea where he was leading him, but he had nothing else to do. K.C. lead Mitch down back in to the secret passage. They walked down the stairs, Mitch thinking to kill K.C. then and now but something was holding him back. They kept walking down until they saw the three doors. Mitch puzzled over them until K.C. opened the middle one and motioned him to follow. Mitch kept following K.C. down the other staircase and into the arena. Mitch saw the glow of lava and saw K.C. disappear into the room. Mitch kept following into the arena. K.C. stood in the middle of the platform where the chest was. He held the axe, pointing out at Mitch.
"So welcome to the Death match."
