I woke up and I felt like my head was going to explode. I looked around and I was in my room. Standing at the foot of my bed was Levi. "Hey Ackerman" I groaned. He just stood there. Still. No words. Just him.

Petra walked in. "Oh good you're awake" she smiled. Levi walked out with the same stern look on his face like always expect it was all bruised and red. "Violet it was nice what you did for him out there" she started to get a travel mug full of tea for me.

"What do you mean nice" I said sipping my beverage. "You obviously care for him more then you want to admit, I've seen that sparkle in your eyes when he does something bad. You two have an unexplainable relationship. Its like you two just get each other. You really do click" Petra exclaimed. Was she right. Did I like this doofus more then I care to admit, even to myself.

I walked into the court yard. I smiled at Levi as I walked past him. He scoffed. "You should greatly appreciate what I did for you. You would've been dead meat if I poured that on your head" I said. He started to open his mouth but I continued. "I don't want to see you- anyone lost to our race. Now on top of fixing your attitude we have to teach you respect. He rolled his eyes and walked away. Petra walked past me and whispered "the sparkle"

I was going through my parents old books in my room. I started to count their journals and realized one was missing. I looked everywhere. It was the most important one. My mothers diary. It was called 'Athena's guide to the outside world'

I laid down on my bed and just groaned as loud as I could. A cadet by the name of London peered her head in. "Captain are you ok" her high pitched voice sent shivers down my spine. "Im fine thank you" I said getting up and putting my books away.

I went down to the dining hall. It was packed but I was fine with making a scene. I walked over to Levi. "Where is it" he looked up from his tea. "Where is what" he raised his eyebrow. I slammed my hands on the table and the whole room looked at me.

"My mothers diary. You were the last person to look at those books. Now let me ask again; where is it" I stared him in the eyes. "I really don't know" he stood up. I pushed him against the wall. "HEY" Erwin yelled from across the room. I let go of Levi and started to speed walk towards Erwin. He knocked me out without a second thought.

I picked up my head and looked around. The only person in the room with me was Erwin. "Care to explain" He said. "Hm I was going to ask you the same question" I stared dead serious into his bright blue eyes. "I have my reasons now what are yours" He crossed his arms and started to tap his foot.

"The book that he stole from me happens to be a thing very important that I hold dear to me" I stood but Erwin lifted his fist to punch. "Im telling the truth" I raised my eyebrows. "And I'm not buying it try again" He said. "I don't know what else to tell you. Do you want me to lie" I exclaimed. He stood in silence as I walked off.

I walked past Levi. He attempted to open his mouth to speak but I interrupted him. "You'll be going on a mission with Erwin, Petra, and Hanji" I continued walking. "How about you?" He asked. "I have my reasons not to join" I said

I laid in bed. Unable to move. It felt like something was pushing me into the bed. I finally got up and stared at my reflection in my vanity. My blue hair seems to never tangle. It just flows down to hip length like always. Everyone tells me to cut it but I can't. I haven't had an accident with it yet. I never took time to admire my eyes. The are a deep green with streaks of light green mixed in. I got them from my father.

The sound of hooves grew louder from my open window. I quickly heard weeping and bolted down out the front entrance. I slammed the door opened. All the attention was diverted to me. Baggy eyes. Slightly mess yet neat hair. Hospital gown looking clothes. "Who" I said. Hanji looked down.

"Captain.... Its Petra"
