*Third-person pov*

Somewhere in a galaxy, among many species, there was a human on a rooftop. He wore dark armored boots, his pants had some armor, and he had an armored chest plate with a dark cloak covering his head. He had military-grade belts wrapped around his waist with small knives and ammo.

His eyes searched through the crowd of people before landing on a Turian. He was one of the many different species on the Citadel. One noticeable thing about this Turian, however, was that he was missing one of his mandibles on his face.

He reached into one of his belt pockets, took out a photo to compare with the Turian, and confirmed it was the target. He then grabbed his compact sniper from his back, which automatically extended itself into a ready-to-fire position.

He laid on his stomach, aiming the sniper at the Turian. His finger hovered over the trigger as he held his breath, waiting for a perfect shot.

When an opening appeared after a few seconds of waiting, he took it. However, just as he was about to shoot, his earpieces started ringing in his ear, causing him to miss his shot.

The bullet sped past the Turian's head and struck a Quarian in the leg.

Quarian: Oh keelah, no! This can't be happening!

The Turian glances at the nearby Quarian before abruptly looking up at the young man.

???: Tsk.

The Turian quickly fled from his attacker. However, the young man wasn't going to let him escape without a chase. He quickly got back to his feet and started running across the rooftops after him while still holding the rifle in his hand.

The human clicked on the earpiece on the side of his head to accept the call that initially caused this mess.

???: Horrible timing, Captain Anderson. What can I do for you?

He aims his sniper at a floating crate, shoots, and causes it to fall, blocking his path.

The Turian came to an abrupt stop with his way blocked. He looked around for another way to run before spotting an alleyway nearby and ran down it.

The young man increased his speed as he jumped over the large gap between the buildings. Landing, he starts running along the alley top while keeping the Turian in his sights.

Down below, the path had only two ways, one leading to the open, and the other being a dead end. Not wasting time, he aimed his sniper and shot a bullet in front of the Turian before he could escape the alley.

Panicking, the turian chooses to go down the left side, which leads him to a dead end. The human cracked a smirk, seeing things going as planned.

Anderson: Sorry to interrupt what you're doing, son, but you're the only person I trust to do what I need.

Anderson: Sorry about interrupting what you're doing but you're just the person I need.

???: Lay it on me.

The young man jumped down from the roof and landed on the floor with a thud, causing the turian to look back at him with a fearful expression on his face.

Turian: H-Hey, now, I'm sure we can work this out. Whatever they're paying you, I can double it. Just name your prices.

???: There is no price for your worthless head.

Grabbing a small knife from his pocket, he threw it at him, but the Turian dodged just in time, causing the knife to miss.

Turian: Hahha, looks like your luck just ran out.
