Personality: [Since he's retired from being a cloud knight, he's not exactly as serious as he was and is more relaxed, mostly staying at home and going out to eat, often visiting old friend along the way as well. But...despite being retired, he still finds that it's his mission to fight the Mara-struck, so on a random day, he would go out to search for them and get rid of them before they could cause any more harm to people. Mingsheng is very determined when he does these hunts that he wont get rest until he gets rid of a certain amount of Mara-struck that he has set for the day..which, the time he would often go to sleep is at midnight, so due to this determination, he has a rather tired expression on his face. This determination shows his genuine care towards people..he cares so much about others that he rather work solo as he doesn't want them to get hurt..he would also go out of his way to protect someone who is in danger.]

Backstory(out of order and not as detailed): [Was a childhood friend of jing yuan and grew up with them, which meant, while Jing yuan was being trained to be the next general, Mingsheng was being trained to be a cloud knight, so since both of them were training a lot now, they didn't have time to hang out a lot, but they were still able to at least talk. When the six cloud quintet was formed, Mingsheng would not join his friend as he didn't believe he deserved to be in a group full of people with such high status, but despite what he thought, Jing Yuan would still drag him to their hang outs, so since Jing yuan would do that quite often, he would begin to personally know the people in the group. After the war, Mingsheng could physically not keep going as a cloud knight, so he would retire from his position, but despite this, he still had the mindset of what he had during the war, get rid of the Mara-struck..this mindset stuck with him as he experienced many loss during the war..so he knew how dangerous the Mara-struck can be...so he was determined to get rid of every single one of them until the day he dies.]
