Today Naomi's family was visiting. They would be meeting Jim and checking in on her. Her dad could he pretty protective, so this wouldn't end too well.

Naomi met her family at the gate. Jim had came with her. He was just wearing a plain T-shirt and jeans. Even though she told her dad he was a StarFleet cadet, he still didn't trust him.

"Mom, dad!" Naomi exclaimed, giving her parents a hug. Natalie, who was twenty seven, stayed home. Nathan was twenty nine, and Noah was nineteen. Naomi was twenty five, the same age as Jim.

"It's great to see you Naomi!" Your mother exclaimed, hugging her tighter. Her dad just stood and stared and Jim, hatred in his eyes.

"Your the guy living with my daughter." He muttered to Jim. Jim just nodded and smiled.

"Sorry sir, it was either her or my friend. I'm not living with my friend, who's pretty grumpy, so she was the next choice." Jim explained, holding out his hand for her dad to shake it. He just stared at the hand until Jim moved it away.

"Where will we be staying?" Nathan asked, dropping three bags on the sidewalk.

"We have one bedroom open and we have to couches." Jim said, taking one of the bags.

"Careful of the stitches." Naomi reminded him. He just laughed and walked into the building. Her family followed and sat down in the apartment.

"I heard her mention stitches?" Naomi's mother, Becca, asked. Jim nodded and adjusted himself on the couch.

"I was stabbed about three weeks ago. There's a man after me, which is part of the reason we have it live together. He's been trying to kill me." Jim muttered, pointing to his right side.

"That's terrible." Becca muttered, looking over at her husband, Joey. He nodded, but didn't look to sad.

"This place has two bedrooms. If one of us is taking one bedroom, and two others on the couches, where are you to sleeping?" Joey asked, looking straight at Jim.

"Dad, I was going to sleep on the floor of Jim's room." Naomi said, trying to keep his nerves calm.

"It's been a long day. I'm going to bed." Becca muttered, standing up and walking into Naomi's room. Joey pointed a finger at Jim and walked after Becca.

"We'll leave so you can sleep." Jim muttered, standing up with Naomi. The two of them went into his room. "You're not really sleeping on the floor right?"

"Of course not weirdo!" Naomi exclaimed, kissing Jim. He already had his shirt off. Naomi changed into her PJ's and joined him in bed.

"Do you know how good you look right now. All messed up, no makeup. It's the most glorious thing I've seen in a long time." Jim muttered, kissing Naomi once she got back to bed.

"Your not too bad looking yourself." Naomi muttered, kissing him. Both of them were laying on their sides, kissing.

"Goodnight. Love you." Jim muttered, holding her close. He was on his back, Naomi over his left arm. Her head was on his shoulder, you hand holding is right hand over his stomach.

"Love you." Naomi muttered. The first I love you.

*morning*

Joey Reither woke up and knocked on Jim's bedroom door. He wanted to talk with Naomi. Joey just decided to open the door.

He saw his daughter, snuggling up against this man. "What the-" he yelled, but was cut off my Naomi waking up.

"Dad! It's not what it looks like." She yelled. "Anyway, I'm an adult."

"You may he an adult, but you're still my daughter." Joey muttered. "You!" He yelled, pointing a finger at Jim again.

"Sir, nothing happened. We just slept together and kissed. That's it." Jim said, trying to defend himself.

"You! Me! Outside!" He yelled, grabbing Jim's arm and dragging him into the living room. Naomi heard the sound of someone yelling and getting punched.

"Dad! Don't hurt him!" Naomi yelled kneeling down by Jim. He had a bruise already forming on his eye. "I love him, understand that! Don't hurt him!"

"You don't love each other! You've known each other for two months!" Joey yelled, his expression stern.

"Fine." Naomi muttered, leaning down to kiss Jim. "Don't hurt him."

"One more chance Kirk. One more chance." Joey muttered, storming off.
