*Two weeks later. Jim and Naomi have known each other for 7 1/2 months.*
Naomi and Jim had a date tonight. Jim was going to take her out to a picnic in the woods. He had asked her dad for a good spot in the woods to be.
Jim blindfolded Naomi and walked her out to the woods. He brought her by the lake in the woods. It was a clear night and there was tons of stars. He had a boat prepared for them to go out onto the lake.
"Alright. Hope you like this." Jim said, taking the blindfold off of Naomi. She gasped and turned to hug him.
"Jim, it's lovely." She said, giving him a quick kiss. Jim led her out onto the dock.
He climbed into the boat. "Hand me the basket please."
Naomi handed him the basket. Jim held out his hand, a huge grin on his face. Naomi grabbed his hand. "Thank you sir." She joked, stepping into the boat.
The boat had already started to drift from the dock. Naomi had to jump from the dock. Jim caught her in kissed her quick.
"Don't worry, this boat is stable." Jim said, sitting down. He grabbed an oar and started to row to the middle of the lake.
"I've been out here so many times, but this is so much better." Naomi muttered, staring at the stars.
"I can make it better." Jim said, putting the oar away. Naomi looked at him confused. "Trust me."
"Okay, I'm kinda nervous now." Naomi muttered, laughing.
"Don't be. I love you. A lot. I knew since the moment I met you, you were different. A good different. I love you so much. More than anyone ever." Jim said, holding her hands. He stood up and got on one knee. "Naomi Reither, will you marry me?"
He pulled out a box containing a ring. The diamond shone in the light. It was a simple ring with a heart shaped diamond. There were a few smaller diamonds along the golden band.
Naomi was speechless. Jim just proposed to her. He proposed. Proposed. She was going to get married to him. "Yes." She muttered, tears streaming down her face. "Yes."
"Yes. Yes!" Jim screamed, hugging her. "SHE SAID YES!"
Naomi was still sobbing, only this time in Jim's arms. "I love you too." She muttered, kissing his cheek.
"Here." Jim said, grinning. He put the ring in her finger and kissed her hand. "Let's eat."
"Okay." Naomi muttered, still crying. She sat next to Jim in the boat, snuggled up against him. "Best date I've ever been on."
"Good. Can't wait for us to get married." Jim said, kissing her cheek.
"Me neither. Best decision I've ever made." Naomi said, still crying.
"Agreed." Jim said, holding her close. "Love you."
"Love you."
