Chapter 13: Another Night

Jim Kirk had one more chance. Naomi was still aloud to sleep on the floor of Jim's room, but not the bed. Despite her being an adult, Joey refused for his daughter to sleep with a guy when they aren't married and he's around.

Nathan and Noah would glare at Jim every once and a while. They now knew him as the guy that slept with their sister.

Everyone sat in the living room, watching breakfast in silence. "Sir, I'm terribly sorry once again." Jim said to Joey, trying to apologize.

"Once again, you have one more chance. Naomi can still stay in your room, but on the floor. Not the bed. Or she takes the bed and you're on the floor." Joey said, pointing a fork at Jim.

"Yes sir." Jim muttered, going back to eating. He had to go to class today, despite being home for a few weeks.

His professors and the police thought it was best he do all his work at home, going to class could be risky. Today he was going to try and go back. Hopefully nothing happened.

The day went by just fine. Jim didn't end up in the sickbay, Naomi had fun with her family. Everything was alright. Until it was time to go to bed again.

As promised, Jim was on the floor and Naomi was on the bed. As she leaned down to kiss him, she slipped off the bed. Naomi fell on top of Jim, kissing him.

Both of them were lost in the moment. Nothing mattered. Naomi was close to Jim's face, staring into his icy blue eyes. Jim stared into Naomi's green eyes, frozen in time. Neither of them wanted to move, to speak. It was perfect.

"What did I tell you about sleeping with my daughter!" Joey's voice boomed through the room. Naomi quickly loved off of Jim.

"Dad, I'm so sorry. I just fell I swear." Naomi said in Jim's defense.

"It's true sir. I'm terrible sorry. We just got lost in each other's eyes." Jim mumbled, smiling over at Naomi.

"Hey! Pretty boy! Look at me when I'm taking to you!" Joey yelled, clapping his hands in front of Jim's face.

"I'm sorry sir." Jim said, perking up.

"Alright. You just blew your one chance. I'm okay with you two together. Naomi's an adult, she can handle herself. You're an adult and I trust you. You both look like you love each other. Just don't do anything too bad while I'm around. You can kiss, nothing more. I'll allow you to sleep together, but use protection. Goodnight." Joey said, winking at Jim and Naomi.

"Goodnight." You and Jim muttered, looking at each other. Both of you shrugged and went back to bed.

"You're on birth control, right?" Jim asked, holding Naomi close in his arms.

"Of course. I wouldn't be here in bed if I wasn't." Naomi said, kissing his cheek. "You know, you're quite handsome."

"And you're quite gorgeous." Jim muttered, kissing her nose. He kissed her lips, loving every second being beside her.

Little did Naomi know, Jim had a run in with one of the guys out to get him. He agreed that in one week he would meet up with them in exchange for Naomi's safety. Jim had to enjoy everything with Naomi. It might be the last week he ever her.
