After a whole week of waiting, Lily and me have found no new clues from the news about this new terrorist group, "NORI".

"Ahh, geez... What are these people up to?!" Lily yelled in frustration while clutching her head. "ARGHHHHH."

"Lily, calm down. It just means we have to wait a bit longer."

"But I hate waiting."

"Me too." A soft voice said from afar. It wasn't me or Lily. We both turn our heads to the door.

"Jay!" Lily yelled as she ran up to him.

"H-hey." Jay said, awkward as usual.

"Jay we've been so worried!" I exclaimed.

"Me too. After I saw you stabbed with a tranquilizer dart and I couldn't do anything...I felt worthless." Jay said.

"W-what? Tranquilizer dart?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah, after that guy stabbed me I heard you coming upstairs. I couldn't warn you or Lily, I could barely move or speak. After you came upstairs, I did my best to warn you. I tried waving my hand and tried my best to say 'get away' or 'don't come closer'. After that, I guess the guy figured you saw him so he stabbed you with a tranquilizer dart." Jay stuttered all throughout saying those words. Those horrifying words. I could tell that he was in no condition to speak so much, but I wanted more details.

"A guy?" I asked.

"Yeah. He was wearing a black sweater and black pants...I think. My memory is kind of fuzzy right now." Jay said.

"It's fine. Explain the best you can." Lily said.

"The sweater had a giant purple 'N' in the center of it. That's one thing I'm sure of." Jay said, trembling.

"That's okay, Jay. If you don't want to say more you don't have to. Come sit by me." I said.

Jay walked slowly, and kind of wobbled towards me. He plopped himself down beside me, giving out a little sigh.

"I...I wasn't stabbed." Jay said.

What does he mean he wasn't stabbed? I clearly saw the stab wounds on him!

"What are you talking about, Jay?" Lily asked.

"I... Well, the guy was a-after the bombs. I r-refused to give them to him, s-so... That's when one of the silent bomb prototypes I've been working got dropped. It exploded everywhere and shook the stereo and all the CDs. A huge piece of radio fell on my stomach, causing me to bleed." Jay said. Tears started streaming down his face. I squeezed him tightly and whispered in his ear,

"It's not your fault."

Seeing someone as innocent and cute as Jay cry makes you want to cry, too. Lily has a super soft spot for Jay, so she burst out in tears.

"JAY, MY BABY! DON'T CRY OR ELSE I CRY. DO YOU KNOW HOW DEEP THAT HIT ME?! RIGHT IN THE HEART." She said as she pushed me away from Jay and hugged him so tight it looked like he was going to suffocate.

She's lost it. She's completely lost it.

"Uh-" I start to say before she interrupts me.

"WE'RE GONNA FIND THOSE NORI PEOPLE FOR YOU. DON'T YOU WORRY MY LITTLE POPTART. WE'RE GONNA FIND THEM AND BLOW THEM UP. LIKE BOOOOOOOM, OKAY?!"

"Lily, we're in a public area...people could hear us.." Jay said, escaping her grasp and wiping off his tears.

"Oh, sorry." Lily said as she also wiped her tears.

"Well she's right about one thing." I say, rubbing my arm on the spot that I fell on.

"And what's that?" Lily asked, smiling.

"NORI is getting what they deserve. Ready or not, here we come."
