"When I found out who did this, they'll be lucky to even be able to walk!"
It's Lily's voice.

"Lily..?" I mutter.

"Awari! Oh my god, you're alive!"

"Y-yeah, what about...Jay?"

"Jay's okay. Well, he's doing better at least."

"What?"

"He suffered serious stab wounds, really close to the heart. He's lucky to be alive right now, Awari."

"It's my fault..."

"What?"

"It's my fault!"

"Awari no-"

"If I hadn't made this group then...we wouldn't be in this situation!"

"There was no way you could've predicted this would happen-"

"Yeah, you're right. There was no way to predict it. But I could've planned. I could've planned there would be dangers in doing this."

"Stop-"

"I could've done more!"

Lily hugged me tightly. She was warm and delicate. I couldn't take it anymore. Jay's injuries, my near-death experience, Lily worrying about me... That was when all my emotions I kept bottled up inside me just...let go. Tears started streaming down my face, snot out of my nose. I was crying like a 5-year-old.

"Hey Awari..."
I couldn't even speak to her. I was too overwhelmed by my emotions.

"I know this isn't the time but..."

I try to get silent to listen to her, but I was making these little animal noises out of nowhere. I never realized how childish I am.

"The bombs are missing."
