Felix pov
My feet were moving on their own as my mind screamed at them to reach as fast as they can to Papa. I was walking ahead of the two and opened the familiar door which led to my father's hospital room.
He was there, laying but awake. He gave me a weak smile as he spotted me and rose up a bit to sit, I went to him and kneeled infront of him on the ground while I held his hand.
"H-how are you?" I asked, my voice cracking. Minho hyung and Jisung entered the room right after.
"I'm fine, my baby. I'm sorry for making you all worried" he whispered as i shook my head. How selfless can one be to worry about others when they are the one hurt? "Don't apologise, please" I said, giving his hand a squeeze. I missed him soo much.
"Papa" Minho hyung whispered and turned around, seemingly trying not to cry, not wanting to break his tough character infront of us.
"Don't cry, baby. See, I'm okay, not a scratch on my body" Papa said.
"You were drugged... Overdosed" Minho hyung said and inhaled sharply while wiping his tears.
He turned around again and kneeled beside me infront of the hospital bed as he hid his face in Papa's knees, Dad just patted his back as it to tell him it's all okay now.
Minho hyung rose his head with anger-filled eyes "who did this to you?" He asked as Papa sighed "let's not talk about it right now" "no Papa, you don't understand. God knows what might've happend to you if Dad reached there later" Minho hyung said.
"Papa, we have to find the culprit. Though he did not cause a very big harm, crime is still caused and if we don't do anything, there would be something bigger, worse happening" I said.
"Do you know about the culprit, Tae?" Dad asked as Papa looked into his eyes and nodded "I know about him very well, Kook"
It seemed like Dad was getting what we didn't because he kept on staring in Papa's eyes as they communicated non-verbally.
Papa nodded at him as Dad sqeezed his eyes shut and sighed "can someone please tell us what's going on?" I asked.
The door opened as the rest of the guys arrived while asking about Dad's wellbeing, Hyunjin with a 'get well soon' bouquet. Though it was not the moment, I couldn't help but think about how perfect he is.
Hyunjin handed Papa the bouquet "for you" he said "thankyou very much, but I think I'm well now" Papa joked with a smile.
"It's good to know" Chan said while Minho hyung just looked at me as if saying 'when will he tell us the truth?' as I just shrugged with a sigh.
"Papa, these guys are also in this to find the culprit" Minho hyung said "this child isn't leaving me alone, your Papa just recovered and instead of 'how are you feeling Papa?' 'are you okay now?', your first question is 'who is it?'" Papa mocked him.
"I worry about you, Papa. And, I won't be able to sleep peacefully without knowing about the culprit. You could've not known about hima nd it would still be okay but you know and now we want to know" Minho hyung said while holding his hand.
"So it's my fault that I told you that I know about him"
"Papa" Minho hyung pressed.
"Okay, fine. I'll tell you, but please tell these kids to take a seat first" he said and in an instant, all sat on the floor and he sighed "tell us now" i said.
"I won't go into the details, but the culprit used to be my close friend.... His name is Min Yoongi" Papa said as my eyes widened in shock.
"No way... Min Yoongi as in Jimin uncle's husband?" I asked as he nodded and I let out a gasp of disbelief.
"Dad, you knew?" Minho asked, not believing this too "I did. We just didn't want to break it down to you" Dad guilty said.
"I- we met Jimin uncle a few days ago" i stammered as now Papa looked shocked.
"You didn't tell me?" "I never got the chance to, and I didn't think it was that important" I said in my defence.
"Now that you know it, be aware, you too Min and I don't care how strong you are, Jimin and Yoongi are not nice people to be around and I know this and I'm telling you.... They're not after me" He said as we looked at eachother and at him in confusion.
"Who are they after, then?" Minho hyung asked.
"Are they after your family?" Changbin asked "it would've still been better that way" Papa said.
"Then who are they after, Papa?" I asked.
He looked at me and said "...You, Felix"
Shocks after shocks, surprises after surprises in matter of just few minutes.
"And you, Hyunjin" he added.
"Why are they after us? What do they want- what will they get from us?" I asked, the questions were eating me alive as a new one popped after each one and what remained was just one: Why?
"Because it's not an everyday thing that people get a soulmate, that too from another world. Unfortunately, they are the ones to seperate the soulmates." Papa said
"And how do you know that?" Hyunjin asked.
"We won't beat around the bush and we'll be very direct, but do know that till now, they were not directly aiming on you two. But now that we will tell you about them, they will not leave you alone. They will do anything to seperate you two but we trust in you two and your love" Dad said.
"Tell us Dad" I said.
"Just like you two, me and your Papa are soulmates and survivors from the soulmate killers, Yoongi and Jimin are just the part of them" Dad said.
