AWC Rules and More

Okay, for those of you ready to know more about what exactly you're getting into, here's the rules, guidelines, and how-to's of it! Please follow them accordingly. Anyone found going against them will be disqualified, so please play nice! I hate having to be stern.

Contest Guidelines

A list of writing prompts will be provided in the following chapter. You may choose any one of them, but only one. You cannot enter more than one story at a time per contest. Every month will be a different list of prompts, so please choose the one you most feel drawn to!

After your piece has been written, please use the tag #AWC(insert current month)2015 in order for me to be able to find you!

Everyone earns something, and all of you will receive my positive support! Prizes will be listed in the following chapter.

The written piece cannot exceed 5,000 words. Though I prefer concluded pieces of work, if you do not have enough words to finish the story, please write enough to give a clear idea of the story idea/plot, emotion, character, and a solid but (not necessarily) conclusive ending. I don't want to feel like I got stopped in the middle of a sentence, but perhaps I've reached the end of a chapter in a book.

Rules

1. No negative commenting on other contestants submitted writing

2. No taking from other's writing. Be creative and make the prompt your own!

3. Minimal swearing, please!

4. No adult content (keep it PG-13)

5. All contestants must stick to the prompts provided

6. All contestants must comment, vote, or PM me when there's an update or at least once every few days to stay apart.

If I PM you about the contest, a response is required. If, after I PM you twice, you do not respond, you will be disqualified. Anyone who contacts me after disqualification will be considered for re-entry.
