It was early November.

This year had gone fast with all the secrets and lies. I found out that mum had gone through my room, figures with my diary pages ripped out.

Just when I thought this couldn’t get any worse they did.

Mum found out about me moving and went skits, and I mean she seemed like a crazy lady.

With all the yelling and screaming, I now why my other sister’s left, why couldn’t I have left before any of this got they way it is?

I started pacing my room as I thought of ways to get out, get out of this place but still be with my friends.

I know they only give me sympathy but I need them, there all have.

To be honest I really don’t want to move, the school is great with me being in the special dance program and on the cheer squad.

And yes I know what your thinking, how can a girl that’s over weight for her age be a cheerleader?

Well let’s just say that I worked hard just to get in, and the teacher believed in me.

And with me, it helped them win first place at the state cheerleading championships.

That’s why I didn’t want to leave, but really I have no choice.

Mum has no idea what she has turned my life into, I use to be happy, but know I feel like I’m not worth it. I don’t disserve to be living anymore.

I guess mum realized that when she kicked me out.

Yeah you heard me right she kicked me out just because she found out that I was moving at the end of the year to live with dad.

I looked at my bags that were neatly packed by the door. My heart sank as I realized that mum probably never wanted me in the first place.

The car horn snapped me out of my thoughts. I grabbed my bags and headed out side were my friend Annabelle was waiting for me.

She was kind enough to let me stay with her until my mum wanted me back, she the greatest friend I could ever ask for.

Even though she’s on the crazy side, I love her to pieces she’s the type of person who can brighten you day with whatever mood you’re in.

I put my stuff in the back and hopped in the car.

“Thanks so much for this, I don’t know what I would do if you hadn’t asked me.”

Annabelle’s mum looked at me through the re view mirror and smiled.

“Lucy you have nothing to thanks us for, you need a place to stay and your mother need to come to her senses.”

“I know, but thank you so much for taking me in, I know I shouldn’t but I really didn’t want to stay out on the streets.”

She nodded and pulled out of my drive way as my mum pulled in, I flash of confusion drifted on her face.

She saw Annabelle’s mum and her face went straight to anger.

“Umm I think it’s best if we go now before mum burst and vein.”

“Good idea, listen your going to have to sleep in Annabelle’s room for the night, I haven’t set up the spear room yet.”

I nodded my head as we made our way to their house and my new home until it was time for me o say my goodbyes.
