Kid reported your immense progress to his father, who told you all that you should keep trying to work on regaining your memory.
"Also," He poked your forehead with a giant finger. "You should probably go back to where Kiddo found you. Maybe we can find a hint as to where your partner is!"
You nodded, silently worrying about this meister of yours. You were also very curious as to exactly what happened to you.
Subconsciously, you ran a finger over the stitches in your arm.
'It had to have been pretty bad...'
"Ready to head out (name)?"
You snapped out of your thoughts, shifting them instead to Maka. Ready? Ready for what?
"W-What...?"
"We're gonna go to the spot that Kid found you. There might be something left behind there to help figure out who your partner is and what happened to them."
You nodded, still nervous, as you began trailing behind the group of seven.
A few moments later, someone joined you. When you looked up you saw Soul walking beside you.
He shrugged at your questioning glance.
"It's not cool to let girls walk alone."
