"Sounds like fun!" You grinned.
Soul quickly turned to look at you, and you saw the fading remains of a blush on his pale cheeks. His crimson eyes were a bit wide in shock, but they soon returned to normal and a wide smirk crossed his face.
"Cool..." He nodded, still staring into your (e/c) orbs. "Would tomorrow be alright?"
"Sure, what time?"
"How about 5:30? That way we don't end up in the dark too long."
You nodded in agreement just as the door opened behind you.
It was Kid.
"(name)," he cleared his throat. "I have decided that you and your partner shall reside with me. He explained your prior living arrangements and I don't believe that they were very... Suitable. Is this alright with you?"
"Yeah, as long as its no bother-"
"YEEEEY! (NAME) AND LUKA ARE LIVING WITH US! HOORAY! YEEY!"
A wild Patty suddenly appeared with her arm wrapped tightly around your neck. She continued to cheer as the rest of the gang exited the manor.
"C'mon, Soul." Maka chuckled. "We should get going. I need to pick out an outfit for your date tomorrow!"
"DAMMIT MAKA, I TOLD YOU EAVESDROPPING IS SO UNCOOL."
