Chapter 8

Ashton was at Luke's house a quarter to five. "You're early." Luke raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest. Ashton smirked, eyes raking up and down Luke's figure.

"You look beautiful, princess. So hot." Luke blushed and shook his head, grabbing his bag from the small table next to the door.

"Thank you. Let's go." Ashton chuckled as Luke walked away towards the car. Ashton rushed forward to open the door for Luke, smiling as he did so. Luke rolled his eyes, but grinned back.

Ashton ran around to the other side, quickly getting himself in the car. He leaned over the center to press a kiss to Luke's cheek, making the younger boy giggle. "Sorry princess, but I just couldn't help it. You look so amazing tonight." Luke laughed and looked over at Ashton, a bright smile on his face.

"Thank you, really." The couple shared a soft look, before Luke blushed and looked away. "So, where are we going?"

"Uh, the band had a gig tonight, so I thought you'd tag along with me. After all, it is the first place I saw you." Luke blushed as Ashton sent him a cheeky wink.

"That sounds great." The couple arrived at the bar, Ashton once again opening Luke's door for him.

"You said you want a gentleman, so a gentleman you shall get." Luke giggled at Ashton's fake posh accent. Ashton extended his hand, and Luke hesitated, but ended up taking it.

They walked into the bar hand in hand, Luke having to get a blue wristband on his arm since he was only 16. Ashton was 18 so he didn't need one. Luke was lead to a table in the front, where Calum and Anna were sitting.

"Guys! What are you doing here!" Calum and Anna stood to give their best friend a hug before all three sat down, and Ashton stayed standing behind Luke.

"Michael invited me to watch the show! And I invited Anna." Luke grinned.

"This is awesome! I get to sit with Cally and Anna Banana while I watch Ashton play his drums." Ashton smiled, leaning down to kiss Luke's cheek again.

"It's time for me to go princess, I'll be back when the gig's over." Luke nodded and waved as Ashton walked away. He then turned back to his friends, a big smile on his face.

"God Luke, he's so hot! You're so lucky." Luke grinned at Anna, looking over his shoulder to wear Ashton was talking to Michael and Anthony.

"I know right! I mean, I was planning on playing hard to get for a while longer, but he got fed up with it quicker than I anticipated. So now it's all dates and relationship stuff from here." Luke turned back to his friends.

"Well, he so obviously likes you. He keeps staring." Luke quickly turned again, catching Ashton's eyes. The boy gave him a wink before stepping onto the stage.

"Hey guys! We're 5 Seconds of Summer, and this is our newest song, Permanent Vacation," Anthony announced. Michael began the guitar intro, and Ashton banged along on his drums. Luke, Calum, and Anna all stood up to dance in front of the stage, laughing and singing along.

Luke and Ashton were constantly making eye contact, winking at each other, and Luke would blush every time there was a break in the drumming and Ashton would blow him a kiss.

Soon enough, the show was over, and a sweaty Ashton made his way over to Luke. "You did great up there." Ashton grinned, taking Luke's hand and kissing the back of it.

"Thank you, princess." Luke's cheeks reddened. "Ready to go?" Luke nodded, turning to send a wave at his friends. He let Ashton pull him out of the venue and to his car.

Ashton walked Luke up to his door. Ashton grabbed Luke's bare skin, between where is crop top ended and his pencil skirt began.

"Thank you for taking me out tonight. I had a lot of fun." Ashton grinned.

"I'm happy you agreed to come." Luke wrapped his arms around Ashton's neck, bringing his body closer. Ashton's hands slipped down to Luke's ass and squeezed, making Luke squeal. "And you have a really, really nice bum." Luke giggled, leaning up to rub his nose against Ashton's before connecting their lips softly.

This kiss was nothing like their first one. It was soft and loving, filled with feelings and not dirty passion. Ashton's hands went up to hold Luke's waist again as the small boy pulled away.

"Give me your phone." Ashton nodded, taking it out of his back pocket. Luke took it, adding his number into Ashton's contacts. "I'll see you later, Ashton." Luke left a kiss to Ashton's cheek before turning and going inside.

Luke collapsed against the door, letting out a long sigh. He smiled and shrieked in excitement, jumping up and down and clapping his hands together. He was beyond happy at that moment. Nothing could ever top how he felt.
