I decided to do another song chapter since a few people suggested it :) Also I have put you guys through enough angst, so even though it's not quite relevant to the plot, here is a fluffy chapter in Phil's POV of his first date with Dan. Enjoy!
Song: First Date by Blink-182
-----

In the car I just can't wait,
to pick you up on our very first date

I drive over to your house in our families' green tinted Jeep. My nerves run like hell and I almost can't park the car correctly. I give a quick check over, cringing at the attire I chose for the evening- The usual black skinny jeans and a starry night jumper. Am I supposed to dress formal for these kinds of things? Maybe I could just stop and think this through again?

Nope, no time now. I knock and you turn the door handle to reveal your radiant skin matched with jeans similar to mine and an old MCR concert tee. I give a sigh of relief and a small grin as I escort you to my car.

Is it cool if I hold your hand?
Is it wrong if I think it's lame to dance?

We get to the cinema at a quarter past two and being the nerds we are, we decided to go to an almost filled theater with small children to watch Big Hero 6. We sit down on the awkward and uncomfortable cinema chairs and just smile at each other. 'So this is what they mean by the awkward stage of the relationship' I think with a chuckle. Am I supposed to hold his hand? Of course the Google search the previous night hadn't helped a bit. The only suggestions for first dates with a guy noted how much makeup was the right amount and what dresses would compliment my body the best.

Do you like my stupid hair?
Would you guess that I didn't know what to wear?

I decide to head to the toilet before the previews start. I look in the mirror and give a fringe check whilst sighing at my acne ridden skin and my awkward fitting jeans. It's like being around you makes me a whole new person. I actually take the time now to impress you and to look nice for you.

After washing up I guess it's only appropriate to stop by the concession stand.

I'm too scared of what you think
You make me nervous so I really can't eat

I buy a packet of sweets and a small popcorn before taking my place beside you again. You squeak out a small 'thank you' and let out an awkward grin.

"So, how are you?" I ask with a cringe at my maladroit behavior.

"You spoon, you've already asked me that Phil," you smile, letting out the most exuberant laugh.

Let's go, don't wait, this night's almost over
Honest, let's make this night last forever
Forever and ever, let's make this last forever
Forever and ever, let's make this last forever

When you smile, I melt inside
I'm not worthy for a minute of your time

Your smile is so wide and your facial features are so ethereal, you are like a glowing sun. Your laughter is easily contagious and soon we are out of breath and close to tears. You look at me with those russet eyes and it's like looking at one of the wonders of the world. I can't believe I ended up with someone as beautiful as you.

I really wish it was only me and you
I'm jealous of everybody in the room

Of course the theater is almost over flowing in no time, and to my dismay a very attractive set of boys decided to sit right next to you. I start to feel a jealous heat, but you can feel me tense up and you rub circles in my hand. I smile gratefully and rest my head on your shoulder while I hum along to the opening credits.

Please don't look at me with those eyes
Please don't hint that you're capable of lies
I dread the thought of our very first kiss
A target that i'm probably gonna miss

The movie is actually very good. I could tell near the end you were tearing up and I gave you a small peck on the forehead. That's okay to do, right? I mean it's not like we haven't kissed before, but that kiss what just a heated moment of rushed euphoria and tension. So what would our real first kiss be like? I image it would be sweeter than the last, like soft honey. I can still remember the feel of his lips.

You look over at me with another smile and we make our way out the cinema hand and hand, into the biting cold.

Let's go,don't wait, this night's almost over
Honest, let's make this night last forever
Forever and ever, let's make this last forever
Forever and ever, let's make this last forever

The drive to your house is a simple but pleasing one. The silence feels much better than talking. That's how I know. That's how I know that you are the one. Even in the silence I can feel completely at peace.

Let's go, don't wait, this night's almost over
Honest, let's make, this night last forever
Forever and ever, let's make this lay forever

We arrive at your house and I get out, running over to your side to let you out.

"What a gentleman!" You giggle.

"Only the best for you," I whisper. I awkwardly shuffle in place, wondering whether to hug you or escort you inside.

"I had a really good time Phil. I know this is a new thing for me, but I really did enjoy myself. So thank you," you say, pulling me into a bear hug. It feels so nice to be back in your arms.

"Can we just stay like this forever?"

"I wish..." I sigh. I pull away and look into his eyes. "I really love you Dan."

Instead of responding with words, you pick up my chin and plant a soft kiss on my lips. Just like I thought it would be, sweet like golden syrup.

You pull away slowly and smile like a Cheshire Cat.

"Goodnight Phil."

And with that, I'm left stunned while you sashay to the door only turning to give a wink before closing the door.

Forever and ever, let's make this last forever
