*Misty's POV*

"Hi there Lovie."I opened my eyes to see Rachel standing in front of me.

"Where am I?"I asked as Rachel helped me up.

"You're in limbo lovie."I looked around at the empty white space that stretched forever.

"Why am I here?"I asked and Rachel sighed.

"You weren't meant to stay."I broke down then.

"No, I have to go back Harry needs me, I want Harry. I need to go back!"I looked around frantically trying to find a way out. I started to run, this room went on forever. Rachel grabbed my arms to keep me from running.

"No, I need to go to him! Let me go I need to go to Harry! Let me go!"I yelled slowly breaking down into sobs. She wrapped her arms around me and let me cry.

"So you're the one in love with my son."A voice said and I looked up to see a brunette woman looking at me."Chin up love, no use crying about it."

"Where did you come from?"I asked looking around the empty space for a door or something.

"My name is Anne, I'm Harry's mother."She said completely ignoring my question."I'm grateful for what you did for him and I would be honoured to vouch to get you back down to him."I grabbed her hand.

"Please, he must be so sad. He had nightmares about this happening I have to go back."Another brunette popped out of nowhere.

"I'm Gemma, pleased to make your acquaintance."She said."You're Misty right?"I nodded and looked at them.

"I'm glad I got to meet all of you but I need to get back to Harry."They all nodded.

"We'll do our best, we'll try."Anne said. I knew I had to get back to him; I didn't want to think about what he would do if I didn't. I would get back to him.

"Lovie, I want you to know that this may not work. They may not let you go back, some people are meant to stay and some are meant to go."Rachel said rubbing my shoulder."I hope they let you go, he needs you more than he ever needed me."

*Liam's POV*

I led Harry up the stairs of his house past Misty's sobbing parents. Her mother had her head in her hands sobbing while her father paced back and forth. He had a cordless house phone pressed to his ear. Marvels of technology those cordless phones were.

"Hello, Brent, we have bad news about your sister."Her father said wiping his eyes."She's been shot and killed, this morning. She's dead Brent, she's gone."Harry slowly turned his head towards him.

"I'm so sorry."He whispered as I pulled him up the stairs.

"Is she really gone Li?"He asked looking around her room dazed.

"Yes, she is Harry. Let's go lay down."

"OK."He pulled out of my grasp and fell down on the bed in the middle of the room. The pink bedspread toldwas crumpled like she’d rushed out of it that morning. He pulled a pillow into his grasp and took a deep breath in.

“Misty.”He breathed out nuzzling his face into the pillow. I sighed, he was in so much pain. I could almost feel it.

"No Harry, your bed, not Misty's."I forced myself to say. I didn't want to make him leave. He didn't move. He just laid there, his eyes glazed over, his nose buried in her pillow and his ghostly glow faded.

"She might come back Harry. Maybe she's just taking a little while to sort her way through."I said walking slowly towards him. He didn't respond. He had retreated inside himself and he wasn't coming out. He looked deader than usual. His spark was gone. I hoped with all my heart that Misty was on her way. That she was simply caught in some sort of after worldly chaos and she was making her way back. She had to make her way back, for Harry's sake. He needs her.
