Rebel Red Hope

Hello, 

I'm not sure how many people still have this tucked away in their libraries on here, but I think a small note is required, even three years late. (sorry about that)

Rebel Red Hope, as it is currently, was a project I've worked on and off since 2019, the story changing with my interpretation of the lore we had at the time, and my own view of myself and Arlyn at the time. But the intention was always to do a full rewrite once the lore came to an end. And it has. 

Now, what does that mean for this story?
It simply means that it will remain unfinished as it is, but I will be working on reworking it, making it better, fleshing out and introducing various characters, reworking some old plot points, and possibly posting the rewrite to AO3 (and maybe here if you're lucky).

So while I'm here, I want to thank everyone who's read this over the years. I never expected this story to reach as many people as it has, and especially never expected to be recognized on Tumblr for it, of all places. This story has brought me so many wonderful life-long friends and unforgettable moments that I would have never thought I would be able to experience. When I started writing this, I was 16/17, finishing up high school, trying to make sense of myself and the world around me. While I know the writing isn't exactly great, this version of the story will forever hold a special place in my heart. 

But this isn't the ending of Arlyn's story; it never was. From an in-character Twitter account to a DMAorg-style Tumblr blog, Arlyn continues to live on. Just think of this as one of many cycles Arlyn is also caught in, same as Clancy. 

I think that's enough from me, though. I'm tired and rambling.
