"You stopped after clearing floor 40?" Allison asked.

That afternoon after we returned from the dungeon, Allison, Layla, and James came to visit us right after school hours ended.

"Yeah," Kye said, glancing around at her friends. "Everyone did great. Our teamwork is good. I think they're ready to tackle level appropriate challenges. I aim to have us clear floor 50 in the next few weeks."

"Yeah, we're doing great!" Alaira said. "But Kye soloed the elf king on floor 40. That was crazy! She used a spell I'd never heard of before. Refulgent Burst."

Allison exchanged glances with her siblings with a raised eyebrow, then all three of them turned to Ginchiyo for answers. She slowly nodded to confirm. "Yes. An epic-tier spell. She cast it instantly, and the explosion was similar to that spell she used a few years ago when testing the elementium weapons, except with much less charge time."

Then all four of them turned to Kye with raised eyebrows.

"Ehehe..." she laughed dryly. She sighed and said, "You know what I am. I can cast almost anything with no incantation, or even silently." To demonstrate she held up a finger and formed a small ball of fire, then more split out of it without losing any size. Controlling them carefully, Kye moved them around the room, almost like the fireballs were dancing. And with a snap of her finger, they all disappeared. She shrugged and added, "I don't even need to snap my finger, I just like doing something to indicate that it's intentional."

"When were you going to tell us about that particular ability?" James asked.

"What, silent casting?"

"Yes."

"I tend not to teach things that the world I'm in doesn't know about... until they discover it, then I help."

Just like how there's a seventh element that you don't know about.

"Is there a particular reason you withhold things like that?" Layla asked.

"To avoid drawing attention to myself when I don't want it. And it's just kind of habit even when I'm not concerned about that. Though I admit I find myself wanting to share things here that are not discovered."

"Are there many other things we don't know about?" James asked.

Kye nodded. "Tons. You know the archives for spells, skills, passives, and such? You can only see things that have been discovered in this world. Things that have not been cast here yet or," she made air quotes, "created aren't there, such as one of my favorite spells, Detonation."

"Shi-chan..." Alethea said, smiling dryly. "Are you sure you should talk about spells like that?"

"It's fine, I think," she replied. The young blond held her hand toward and empty spot in the room and snapped her fingers. A door-shaped rectangle of white mana appeared and formed a portal. "Shall we? I can show you a few ultimate-tier spells."

James's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "Right away!" He almost sprinted through the portal, but Allison swiftly caught him by the back of his collar.

"Hold on."

"But Allison! New magic!"

The principal sighed and looked at Kye. "Are you sure you want to show this magic? You'll be credited for their discovery."

The blond princess shook her head. "Anything I discover will appear anonymous, just like that spell I used with the fire elementium weapon."

"Alright, if you're sure."

Kye nodded and led the group of four adults and five other children through the portal to the Far Lands. Once there, she got rid of the portal.

"Okay, so first thing is first... ultimate-tier offensive spells are extremely destructive and difficult to learn, so don't go expecting you'll get it right away, and even if you do... be responsible."
