Prologue;

     I never had much, never. Well it all started when I was about, well a baby. My parents didn't like the idea of a baby. All the crying, and nonsense, or so Nora tells me. My parents had another baby, and kept her. Yes, her. She's the only one I well kind of talk to, her name is Makayla. She cared, I guess. Cared, past tense. She's engaged now, at the age of 17, young right? She got pregnant and basically ruined her life, bet my parents wish they kept me.. oh well, their loss. So now here I am, in an orphanage. Alone, depressed.

   Oh Hello, I'm Jordan, Jordan Prescott. I'm 18 years old, and I'm an orphan. My parents didn't want me, no one did, no one probably ever will. I live at the Happy Harbor Orphanage, it's name had a ring to it. But the name isn't true. Happy Harbor? Yeah ok.. See the orphanage directors name is Nora, she's mean, nasty, a witch, a monster, anything horrible you can think of? Times that by 10. Nora's 42 years old, she's single, and I don't blame those men. Anyway, I'm not the only orphan here either, let's see.. there's, Audrey, Kaylee, Andrea, Ryan, and Matt. Matt's the oldest at 19. Kaylee, my little sweetheart, is the youngest at age 5. Andrea is 14, Audrey is 12, and Ryan is 10. Not very many of us, but they're the only ones that I have. Man, it sure is one hell of a ride here at Happy Harbor, but where else am I supposed to go?

    My life changed with one 'Help Wanted!' sign in a coffee shop window..and a certain band who just stopped in on there way to tour when their bus breaks down..but we'll get to that later...  Well that's my life, and I would love to welcome you into reading all about it....So welcome, into the life of me, Jordan Prescott.
