I awoke the next day to a loud beeping noise. It scared the living daylights out of me as I thumped to the floor. I had fallen out of my bed. Stupid alarm clock reminding me of the living hell that awaits me at school. But I can't wait for my new job after school! Also I can not wait to see Brooke. But first I have to survive the seven hours of torchure that they call school. At least there's only 2 days left after today. I tapped my alarm clock turning it off. I hopped out of bed, quickly got dressed, did my hair and makeup, and ran downstairs to make breakfast for everyone. Nora's always to freaking lazy to do it, hah and she calls herself a 'mother'.
"Oh, morning Jordan." Matt said in his morning voice walking into the kitchen
"Morning Matt!" I said with a smile serving him some eggs and bacon
"Thanks" He mumbled
"C'mon Matt! Perk up for once!" I said tapping his head
"Jordan, please don't give me one of your speeches" Matt chuckled
"What? You don't like them?" I asked giggling. This is the first time I've heard him laugh in awhile
"I do!"
"Can you please tell me what's wrong Matt?" I asked "I'll get down on my knees if I have to!"
"Go ahead!" He said in disbelief
"Fine!" I said dropping to the floor "PLEASE?" I begged, he just laughed at me
"Ok ok, just sit down, you can't tell anyone though ok?"
"I swear!" I said
Just as he was about to tell me, in walks the Wicked Witch of the West.. I looked over to Matt as he mouthed 'I'll tell you later' I nod and he goes back to eating. I look over at Nora as all the other kids come barging into the kitchen. I serve all them breakfast, quick ate mine, and hopped out the door just on time to catch the bus. I climbed onto the bus and take my seat. Just then, I feel something hit my back, and kids giggling. I turn around to see the 'populars' with straws. That can only mean one thing..spit balls. Great, my torchure starts early today I see. I crouch down in my seat to ignore any more spit ball attacks. About 20 minutes later we arrive at Westbrook High, my personal hell hole. As soon as I walk through those doors, I get chorused with "Hey Loser." , "Look what the rat dragged in" , "Anybody want you yet, ya dork?" , basically anything you can think of, I've been called it. You learn to ignore it, after well let's see.. 12 years of school. The only thing is, is that i'm exactly like them, I'm tall, skinny, have long straight brunette colored hair, I play sports, ect. The only reason they pick on me is because I don't exactly have a mother or a father, but how is that my fault exactly? Yeah you tell me.
Seven hours, and constant bullying later, the last bell rings and I'm free! Now just to my new job, but hey gets me away from Nora for a few more hours. So I walked to 'The Coffee Cabin' right after school full of joy, and can't wait to get started. I opend the door and notice lots of people waiting for coffee and Rebecca trying to handle it all. I quickly sign in, put on an apron and get to work..Heck who needs training?! I walk up to my first table ever..I hope I don't blow this..
"Hello, my name is Jordan, and I'll be your server today..what can I get you?" I asked the 3 girls sitting at the table.
