INT. JOSIE'S CELL - A.R.G.U.S SUPERMAX

First off, she was sleeping sound. No disturbances that day other than socializing around with her new buddies Dr. Sivana and . . . that very insightful Mr. Mind.

EARLIER . . .

INT. CAFETERIA ENTRANCE - ARGUS SUPERMAX

Dr. Sivana and Josie were checking out this random man shaped like a piece of blob, literally. As he exited his cell.

She was leaning on the wall, arms crossed.

"That . . . is the human blob." Dr. Sivana told her, Mr. Mind on his shoulder.

"Oh?" Josie asked, sarcastic. Eyes tired and rather unenthusiastic about Sivana's decision to introduce her to this blob misfit.

CUT TO:

Josie waiting in line with Sivana and Mind for food in the cafeteria. There's a purple-haired man after her, around her age. He checks her out, clicking his tongue.

"You're one cute latina, mate. Where you from?" The australian asked her.

She lowered her brows and grit her teeth under her closed mouth, visibly unimpressed. So she decided to have fun with him in a way to make him go away.

"Planet Tatooine." she said, deadpan.

"Damn, get away from me." The australian said, shrugging her off.

"What? You talked to her first." Sivana said.

"It's fine, Dr. Thanks anyway." Josie told him, with a hint of relief.

CUT TO:

In her cell, Josie was reading a novel, as Mr. Mind crawled over on her bedding beside her.

"Mind, if you crawl on me I might just squash you." She told him.

"You are a bold and daring soul." Mr. Mind said.

"I noticed." She said, then started to complain to herself. "Just --- what is taking Batman so long?"

"Is he planning to break you out?" Mr. Mind asked.

She glared at the insect, which was already close to her pillow. "I won't give you straight answers, Mind."

"That might just be the answer I need, young Josie." Mind said.

"Young Josie. Who are you? All-Might?" She asked, sarcastic.

CUT TO:

NOW.

Josie continued to snore off in her cell, until she felt a slight quake in the prison.

Disrupting her REM sleep, she sat up on her beddings. Alerted.

"What's . . . " she wondered to herself, before hearing more . . . as she realized --- explosions. Then . . . gunshots?

"What?!" She said out loud, standing up from her bedding as she watched out of her cell door.

And so she checked if a particular caterpillar was in her room. "Mind?" she said, then there was no sign of him anywhere.

Collective murmurs and panicked rambles of other inmates squandered the atmosphere from outside of her cell as she observed.

"This better not be you, Bruce." She said, before hurriedly using the bed sheets to cover the door's window, retreating under her bed, and using her blanket as a curtain from above on her bed to conceal herself under. She hid in there, compressed, and feeling safe despite the darkness. Still seeing blurry glimpses of light through the blanket.
