Mongul was battle-damaged. His own patience wore thin, yet he still wanted to have fun, witnessing the might and power of this kryptonian. Smile wry and gleamed with overconfidence as he looked upon him.
"Superman." Mongul said, cheery and confident. His skin scorched, and had suffered multiple trauma from Batman's strikes.
"Mongul, correct?" Superman asked him.
"Yes... Oh, pardon me. These friends of yours have been quite the treat." Mongul said to him, amused.
"Well, then you're gonna love me." Superman said firmly.
To put a stop to it all, he retracted his arm --- as gravitons swept and gathered below his feet. He flew towards Mongul swiftly, delivering a finishing blow to his reign of terror. He knocked his teeth out, demolishing him by the cheek.
The large alien stumbled across, coughing up blood. He finally learned to quit, no movement detected. We had winners.
Superman spotted Sprint, he ran over to her and helped her up.
While atlanteans arrived to assist Arthur. Queen Mera rose from the huge wave of water that emerged from the pier. Along with some guards, they immediately tended to Arthur, thanking Diana for watching over him.
Sprint took Superman's hand, slowly stood up, recovering. She still had her eyes down from the battle.
"You have a dislocated arm. I need to shift the humerus back into the shoulder socket. This might hurt, is it fine with you? I'll guide you through it." He told her, reassuringly.
She tiredly looked up at him, holding her broken arm. "I understand." She nodded.
And so, she allowed him to plop bones back into their places. No different from the usual practices of fixing dislocated bones, only immensely faster. Which meant lesser pain.
Wincing slightly, from him repairing her arm. And yet, she exchanged a thankful stare. "Thank you." She told him.
Superman nodded. "How are you feeling?" He asked her.
"Other than the arm and some bleeding, I'll be fine." She said.
In the A.R.G.U.S base, Waller watched the events unfold and she found them to be unsatisfactory. "Useless alien piece of shit." She said, and held up a comm.
"Carter. This is the part where you come in."
Batman rose up, healing himself with surgical spray. He was then approached by Diana, who helped him walk closer to Superman and Sprint. Victor also recovered, gathering with them as they watched the atlanteans retreat to the ocean, as Queen Mera carried Arthur.
She nodded at them, before retreating into the sea as she held the injured Arthur in her hands, diving into the water with the atlantean guards.
"This is not the end." Cyborg told them, catching signals. His red eye blinked. "Heat signatures coming right up ahead."
"I don't like this at all." Sprint said.
Hawkman's Thanagarian Star Cruiser flew over and arrived at the courtyard. The Justice Society were here, and they had been called in by Waller to collect Sprint.
Cyborg and the others watched in uncertainty and worry as the ship softly landed on the courtyard.
The ship hatch fell open, out walked Hawkman, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.
"I can't believe it. I don't believe it. It's the freaking Justice League!" Atom Smasher said, struggling to contain his excitement over meeting them in person.
Cyclone smiled at him, amused. She herself wasn't completely unfazed by this, but if anything he was more excited than she was.
"Play it cool. We're not here to meet and greet, we're here for an escort." Hawkman told him, as they drew near.
