Below the mountains of Antartica, deep waters . . . located was a Task Force X Blacksite, belonging to A.R.G.U.S. A maximum security containment facility for metahumans, aliens, and gods alike. Waller's favorite place, most likely.
Mongul, with arms crossed, awaited her in the place where they were keeping all of their high-priority prisoners.
Among the fresh ones upfront were Black Adam himself, and Billy. Newly-caged along with the others.
Waller walked up to the eight-foot alien. "How was it pursuing the two magical mortals?" she asked him.
"They become immortal by the means of your . . . earthly magic. Quaint compared to even a single fraction of our powers." He said.
"Although we have kryptonians, amazonians, atlanteans, and more, all over this earth. I'd say you're luckier now that our world's speedster vanished, but then we detected a new one who came knocking on our door." she said.
"How do you know?" Mongul said.
"You think your kind out there, and the gods, are the only ones who can set their eyes all over the world?" She said, bewildering him.
He stared her down. "For a human being, Waller. You are not afraid to do what most humans would call unspeakable." he said.
"You don't know the half of it." She said.
"Bring in the speedster, and I can guarantee the Justice League will come for you."
"And your puppets? What will they do?" Mongul asked.
"The Justice Society? Don't worry about them. They know better." She said, giving him a glare --- of down-to-the-bone guarantee.
INT. ARMORY, HALL OF JUSTICE.
Sprint walked into the armory of the Justice League, where she was greeted by various swords and shields used by Wonder Woman across the wall.
"From what I've seen in old footage, you had a sword and a shield. What was with the switch-up?" She asked Wonder Woman, walking in with her.
"We learned we shouldn't have to rely on deadly force. That and I was reminded that children look up to me." Diana said.
"Astute observation." Sprint smiled, crossing her arms.
"Have you met Billy?" She asked.
"I have. I helped bring him back to life." Diana said.
"Are you saying he died?" Sprint tilted her head, concerned.
"Yes, he died fighting a daughter of Atlas. A heroic sacrifice. But the world wasn't ready to leave him behind." Diana said.
"Of course. Billy was only fifteen, or sixteen. Whatever." She said. "Daughters of what?"
"A story for another time." Diana said.
"That was another one of your average end-of-the-world stories but with magical beings. Again." Cyborg said.
"Sounds like tuesday to you guys." Josie said. "Superman still a no-show?" she asked them.
"I wager he's harvesting suns for his little pet." Cyborg said, tapping onto a holo-panel as he tried to look for Kal-El.
"Superman. Superman? The most powerful hero in the world has a pet?" Josie asked.
"Well, yes." Cyborg said with a wide smile.
"Is it . . . a dog? That would be cute." Josie chuckled.
"Funny. It is actually a Sun-Eater." Diana said.
