After waiting for about 2 hours and 30 minutes Keyla finally got out from her acting program and we headed straight home. We arrived home in like 10-15ish minutes.
"Finally!..... What a long first day of school" I say while putting my bag on the floor, stretching and sitting down on the light brown sofa in our small living room.
"Val.... was it that bad? I don't believe that everything was bad" Keyla answers with a slight frown on her face.
"Obviously for you it wasn't all that bad... you know..., sometimes I feel like what happened didn't affect you at all." I reply feeling slightly annoyed.
I take a look at my cousin Keyla and I can see her thinking and a single tear falls down her cheek, but just like that I can see her changing into the positive person she is all over again.
"Non-sense Valentina!, what are you talking about? it affected me as much as it affected you..... but I can't live my whole life mourning about it." she says letting a sad sigh out.
"FINE!!! then I will...... I can't let it go easily." I say lightly screaming while feeling the assault of tears burning my eyes, as if warning me that they were about to break free.
"Val, why are we arguing right now? we need to stick together, we are a team remember?" Keyla says reassuring while glancing down at me.
"I'm sorry.... It's just...., I am not as strong as you are and I am trying really hard to be so." I weakly state.
"I understand Val, but what you are doing is unhealthy..... now come on, lets be positive and tell me, did something good happened in your day?" she asks raising an eyebrow.
"Well...." I say trying to add suspense to the situation. "I met this guy.." as I was about to try and finish my sentence, my cousin bursts out screaming one name....
"JULIAN!" She says while jumping up and down in excitement. I shush her as I continue.
"No Keyla!, after I ran off from that horrible human being, I went to that school garden and...." I say hesitantly.
"Aaannnddd..." my cousin encourages me to finish my sentence while still having her right eyebrow arched in curiosity.
"Well... he was sorta nice..." I conclude shrugging my shoulders.
As soon as I concluded a bomb of questions were thrown at me by a very excited Keyla.
"OMG!, Do you like him? Did you guys exchanged numbers? What is his name?" Keyla was asking while her hands were on my shoulders shaking me back and forth.
"Whoa there... slow down." I interrupt as a successful attempt to shut my cousin up for one minute.
"No, I do not, repeat, Do Not like him, we didn't exchange numbers and OmG... now that I think about it, We didn't really exchange names either, not like politely of course, but I'm pretty sure we heard each others names from Julian ugh!." I reply still thinking of the crazy things that happened today.
"Well so much for excitement, we should head to bed, we got school tomorrow" Keyla says while standing up from the sofa and heading to the rooms.
I nod my head yes in response and reply as I myself make my way to the rooms as well "That's a great idea."

It felt like I only slept minutes when I heard the alarm on my cellphone ring. I was still feeling very tired but at least it didn't leave any space for those horrible nightmares of the past. I had set my alarm last night for 30 minutes earlier than I would usually set it and I did so because I wanted to make a surprise breakfast for my cousin, 'I know, cheesy' but it was my way of saying I'm sorry and thank you.
